How about this.... WC4 map style! 1 grid= 1 province. Oooooh, that's a really good map! Thanks a lot. So, which rule set do you want to use?

Yes, I know Theoretical Wars III is still ongoing, but I just wanted to put another idea out there for future reference. In 2022, the United States of America is teetering on the brink of catastrophe. The COVID-19 pandemic is slowly fading from history but a devastating third wave has left it's mark on the world. The people of America, tired of lockdowns and economic hardships, are ready to revolt. America is a ticking timebomb, just waiting for a spark to ignite into an inferno of chaos. This spark comes on April 17, 2022, when a mysterious group known only as the Syndicate revolts in Northeastern America. This revolution sets off a string of counterrevolutions and secessions, and the United States is rendered a shadow of it's former self. Breakaway states like Texas and California finally achieve their dream of independence, while the Syndicalist States of America dominate the Northeast. With their neighbour in tatters, Mexico and Canada are also watching closely, ready to strike if deemed neccessary. As new nations form from the rubble of what was once the greatest nation in the world, Alliances are formed, wars ignite and anarchy is ripe. Who will you choose to control? Playable states: Sydicalist States of America American Confederacy Republic of Texas California Republic State of Cascadia Alaska Canada Mexico Virginia American Democratic Republic(Former U.S) I’ll be the Mexicanos

Potential rules:
This works similar to GoG 3, each hex is considered its own battle. Each mini battle takes place between 500-1000 units on each side. Potential units are tanks, Armoured cars, infantry, and artillery.
To prevent offline attacks, you have to roll dice to defend, instead of attack. It takes a 8 to successful defend.
Advantages: Infantry to arty +1 Artillery to tank +1 Tank to Armoured car +1 Armoured car to Infantry +1 (technically-1 due to it being defense.)
Aircraft could also play a role, but I would have to make extra rules for that, let me know if you want them.
Its more RTS than TBS. Multiple people can be attacking each other, but there can only be 1 battle per duo (to stop confusion. ) allies can also join the battle. If the people fighting are on different times zones, it's counted as trench warfare (to make the time difference make sense.)
Pros: More immersive More hands on, unlike TW2 Requires both parties to fight, stopping surprise takeovers.
Cons: Lot longer turns Could take days to take a hex depending on times zone Could get confusing depending on how many battles.
Research: see earlier post.
So what do you think @vonmanstein77, its your scenario, these are just suggestions.

However, I would like to suggest dividing tanks into 3 classes: Light, Medium and Heavy. This will allow for more diverse fighting. Also I would like to add that each unit takes an alotted amount of time to produce. So, like this: Infantry: 1 turn Armored Car: 2 turns Artillery: 2 turns Light Tank: 3 turns Medium Tank: 4 turns Heavy Tank: 5 turns. What do you think, Warlord247?

@vonmanstein77, that seems pretty good, however, how will we consider turns? Like I said, this would be more real time strategy instead of turn based. Maybe we could do it where each country has a certain amount of units they can make. Like, 1000 for example. And then each of those units takes a different number like:
Infantry 1 Armoured car 2 Artillery 3 Light tank 4 Medium tank 5 Heavy tank 6
The country decides what quantity of each troop they want to make, and that amount is made each page. I'm not sure if that would work well, but its an idea.
Another thing we could maybe do is add long range artys, that can attack from further distances. Each hex could be like, 5 miles or something, and each unit could have a range they attack in.
(This is all just spit balling, some of these ideas might not even work well, but I figure I can put them out there.)
