all code used from other wikis has been heavily edited, the basic source code required may make it look similar to others but thats just the result of code, all other sources come from templates wiki which they say is fair use and all forum articles are quoted, trust me i wouldn't allow theft

John Marston , there was, until like a year ago, a lot of things happened to it, og admins leaving to these forums (i think idk the full details this is just what the person who requested ownership of it said on the parent site), complete lockdown of all pages, a new owner who ran it for a bit but after 3 more changes in leadership it was handed over to a bad owner who rebranded it and deleted a bunch of things and rebranded it to some obscure wiki. you can still see remenants of what it once was by looking at some of the rebranded pages and in the image search. i and an editor of the wc3 wiki have tried on multiple occasions to make a new one but it is always shutdown. apparently there is already a site about the same topic, they referenced the ew 5 wiki which isn't any better. most remaining wikis, gog3, ew6( separate wikis for 1914 and 1804), ew5, gc:rome are all in terrible states, heck even my wiki the wc4 wiki, was in shambles before i helped get it back on its feet. some of the wikis (ew6:1804 and great conqueror rome) are in better condition than others (ew 5) the only wikis standing strong are the wc3 and wc4 wikis of which the wc4 wiki has more active staff and more pages. thats why i am doing everything in my power to keep the only 2 wikis left from suffering similar fates. thanks for reading my little history lesson. -Regards LABWAZHERE

John Marston , my wiki was fortunate they had me come along, and thats not me acting like i was the saviour of the wiki, i truelly did help the wiki get back on its feet, look at any post made by me prior to december 1st 2020. I actively helped it and it was already big enough that it wouldn't be too hard to help it and still had a relatively healthy audience. there's a lot of things that have happened but i as the current owner of the wc4 wiki feel responsible for keeping the smaller wikis from dying and keeping us alive. I have done a lot for the wc4 wiki, so much that it would take a long time to list them all, but at the end of the day, i feel like i owe the community for this and by having the wc4 wiki on these forums i know that we won't end up like the ew4 wiki. sorry for this i just really needed to say this, it has been bugging me for ages.

John Marston, well the ew4 wiki is a lost cause but you can still help with the ew6:1804 wiki, i have asked some of my admins to try and contribute to it enough to be eligable for ownership so we can start returning it to its former glory, it would be great if we had someone else who had more time than us and knew a lot more about it than us to help get ownership, a lot of things i want to do to help it i cant do until i have admin rights. so that's the wiki you should help with if you can, there is a link on the wc3 wiki which is linked to on my own one
