What do you guys think of the new general system, aka what do you hope will come out of the upcoming update which will clearly include some change to the general system. I hope that we will be able to sell our generals cause I bought a general just to get a prestige medal reward through getting a 32/32 infantry strenght, also Bagdolio isn't worth it: too weak and can't attack more than once unless you put elephant. I am slightly scared of the upgrade system(don't want a repeat of WC4) Here is the reference image:  |

I'll take whatever at this point, I've already assembled my ideal team of generals(1-2 strong generals for every role for every side) and I've stashed a useless 5000 medals that I want to use.

Me too but I have barely 9 generals (bought) and only have 600 medals.

It does not look too bad. I mean, I still do not like the grindy general system in WC4 where almost everything needs to be upgraded. But this looks to be a very minor thing. Stars look like they are a new form of currency that you can use to upgrade generals. Generals can be allotted 4 stars at max. Since the abilities and skills of a general still look like they are unchangeable, I think that the stars will give damage and health buffs to generals. I just hope that enemy generals will not be given any stars.

I think it'll be the latter since in the image we see that donitz has 0/4 stars next to his portrait yet he still looks like good old donitz. |

eeeeef, I'm at 1944 Operation Cobra/Return to Stalingrad. General line-up is Leeb, Rommel, Bagdolio, Montgomery, Govorov,Mannerheim, Nagumo, Tassigny and Greim. (Greim was for the rewards from having a certain amount of airforce and infantry.
