Arty commander also acts like a second Salvo, though. It didnot increases output of the general who has it. Yeah, it does.

Also these skills are of your Beseler and you have ruined him by removing a good skill named Mountain Fighting for a mediocre skill named arty commander. It does I believe. Recently I gave Jackson cavalry commander and after that, his had an additional 20 damage. I don't know if it's the same for infantry and artillery though, but I would assume so.

I was thinking to change Sheridan or Fichev for a good inf general since I have many cav generals and only 2 inf generals: Zhekov and Falkenhayn. I also want to buy Falkenhausen when I replace those two, but is it really worth it replacing them or is there a better inf general I could buy for money available in campaign 3? A Charles Huntziger 6Johnny23 First of all, there was no need to buy Fichev. You should go for Straussenberg. Have you got Ivanov/Beseler? I got Ivanov at the cost of Dmitriev

I got Ivanov at the cost of Dmitriev In this game, if you're F2P then you should get generals in this way 1. Ivanov/Beseler 2. Straßenburg 3. Ivanov/Beseler( depends on who you have not bought) I believe you can complete 7 chapters with these above. 4. Beaty/Hipper 5. Beaty/Hipper 6. Lee 7. Sidney Johnston 8. Hindenburg 9. Mclennan( optional)

Beseler is the best straight out of the academy, after you have invested 5 textbooks it's Ivanov. I honestly don't appreciate Hindenburg's defensive presence but if you don't care about cost then he will be the best after 50 textbooks.

Save for Lee. You only need to invest 5 textbooks in him, and he is OP. Only problem is price. You will need much more books to make him on the level of S-burg. Really, you can swap S-burg’s Plain for Forest and boom. Your primary infantry general. And because he is in 3rd campaign (person asking for help), he should go for Massena-like generals, cheap and good, which S-burg is, while Lee will need a terrain skill and aura if you don’t gent S-burg.

Untouched Ivanov doesn't have jungle so I rate Beseler above him, but after 5 textbooks he's perfect.
