1. Why would you want to use transport ships to attack? Eisenhower's navy stars are useless when he's on infantry. 3. Crowd tactics is not a good skill; you have to maintain 3-4 stacks for consistent damage I always keep my gens at 3-4 stacks. In addition, transports are sometimes (although not often) the most useful way to attack. Okay. If it fits your playstyle, then it's good for you. However, how are transports useful for attacking? They get shredded if you can't land them. |

Only certain army groups even have a chance to utilize transports (British First in '39 West is a big one). Besides, Why not just land your transports and use ships to bomb? Not to mention, if there is a coastal artillery piece around you will get smacked. |

I gave Ike an average rating. His aura is nice, but take that away and he would be a pretty mediocre infantry general.
Overall, Rundstedt, Marcarthur, and Yamashita seem to the best the best infantry generals, with Kuribiyashi, Tassigny, and Slim being the second best.
I still don’t know how I feel about Clark

Overall, Rundstedt, Marcarthur, and Yamashita seem to the best the best infantry generals, with Kuribiyashi, Tassigny, and Slim being the second best. I still don’t know how I feel about Clark Clark is good, because he is the only allied plunder supply. |

I still don’t know how I feel about Clark Clark is good, because he is the only allied plunder supply. He is good not great. Imo his movement is pretty terrible, infantry leader low level, and amphibious useless. I think I have clark an average rating as Macarthur seems way better for 300 extra medals. Clark isn’t bad, but he ain’t my favorite either. |

I got Ike in the overlord fight (44) and the inf next to him does not have the buff from his skill. He himself has it.
Does this occure also when you buy him or only in this "for free" fight?
It works for me with Dönitz and Navy.

OFC Manstein, my Govorov kill him in one turn. Ike is less of a Combat gen (although he is good in that) than a utility gen. A sort of Jack of All Trades. |
