Does anyone have an easy industrial age conquest recommendation and strategy to go along with it? I really want the armor but I can't just yeet my 4 generals in every direction and win like the previous conquests.

I've just done it as USA. Take out Canada then send 2 gens east and 2 west. Could you describe your pathing, general strategy, and things to watch out for. You need to be flexible in terms of routes as the enemies fight with and take out each other, and you can never be quite sure where the larger ones might move the capital to after you've taken it. I chose USA because once you've taken out Canada you have all of NA with not much threat from the south as Spain & GB are usually more focused on fighting elsewhere. Generals with Plunder or Logistics are the best for conquests. The smaller countries will give up more easily so go for them first, but having said that I invaded Europe via Ireland & England knowing they'd move the capital, but it meant I could get to Denmark and decide who to attack next in Europe based on who was looking the weakest after 8-12 turns. The archers were the only enemy generals who caused me any real problems.

I picked Britain instead. Turn Germany into a temporary friendly state and confront the Franco-Spanish alliance, Siam, followed by Qing China at the same time.
Use two gens on each front. Hong Kong, London, Dublin and your South American colonies will be where you defend and pin enemies down.
March into France via Brest. Split your troops at Paris to attack both Spain and southern France at the same time. You'll probably need to attack Carthage, Lisbon and even deep into North Africa to take the two out. Concurrently, mop up Siam and enter China via Kunming. One gen will attack Japan and enter Russia via the Far East. The other gen will attack along the coastal road and march on Peking. Invade Russia via Central Asia.
The troops in Europe likely blocked Germany along the entire front while my gens attacked the Americas. They should return to Europe if needed. Use Diplomacy as you see fit to block key roads.

I recommend Austria. You're permanent friends with Germany so only 1 front to worry about. Starts with 2 good cities for a 1-star which you can drop princesses on early.
