So: IF the game automatically puts your best generals to the left when you click on the helmet icon, then the top eight when everyone is fully maxed out and unequipped is: Caesar, Suleiman, Blucher, Attila, Alex, Saladin, Barbarossa & Li Shimin. Joan ranks higher than Richard & Bismarck (12th, 13th, 14th) even though Richard beats her on all basic stats. Can you shed any light on why they are in this order Erich von Manstein? I think this ranking is rather artificial... The place of Nobunaga among other generals is a good evidence...

I think this ranking is rather artificial... The place of Nobunaga among other generals is a good evidence... Yeah he's the one that jumped out at me too when I saw how far down the list he is. If it's not supposed to be a ranking of strength though, then why does giving them equipment move them "up" the list?

I am sure it is a ranking of strength, I don't think it has any connection with reality though
