I can't beat it! I can't fight Kleist's Maus and the Karl behind him. He's always sitting on a factory and replenishing.
I use have Rokossovsky as additional general apart from the other given ones. I have 3/3/3/2/2 tech. I upgrade the heavy artillery to Katyusha with Chukov sitting in it and the heavy tank to KV-6 with Rokossovsky.
(I feel like the KV-2 should have been the heavy tank force and T-34/85 the regular tank force, but that is another subject...)
I put Timoshenko in a KV-2 and Alexander in an artillery at the right.
I am trying to beat Kleist before turn 8.
For me it is a hard one for sure! Any advice?

Try killing Messe and Kleist within the first 2 to 3 turns before he gets to the factory, once he does, it's game over. Do you have any other gens ?

I only have Rokossovsky as additional Allied general. I tried going all out on the first few turns, but it hasn't worked. I am using the KV-6's and Katyusha's indirect fire to hit Kleist without getting hit back. On the right I attack the peripheral units slowly from a distance then rush to kill the heavy artillery, afterwards I retreat back and wait for the reinforcements that will come after defeating Kleist.

Yeah, it's a good guide, but for to my esrs it sounds like "use Patton and MacArthur". Which is definetly a good idea, although just not possible for me right now.

MacArthur is a requirement, although Roko is much better than Patton. No you need Patton or Manstein, and Vatutin can substitute for Rokossovsky. There is no such thing as a good medium tanker. They are far too expensive, and need to be replenished/recruited constantly.

By that logic, all navy gens are bad. Nah, navy is it's own theater, and thus they are irreplaceable. That same argument can be applied to medium tanks. While they do share a theater with other types of units, they are still irreplaceable. I can't think of anything that could replace them.

Well, I finally beat it! I think it might have been pure luck though. I used Chuikov, Rokossovsky, Timoshenko on the right against Kleist, whil against Messe on the left I used Alexander and Leclerc.
I sacrificed Timoshenko and his tank on a suicide mission on turn 6 or 7 (not sure). His service was an honour to the Motherland.(2 minutes of silence.)
The rest was easy, but stressful since I didn't want to restart the mission because of one forgotten surviving enemy infantry.
I moved my troops from the Kleist front between Messe and his port just after defeating Kleist, leaving the bare minimum to capture Tunis.
Now to do the Allied * missions! I hope I won't have to start a thread for them.

Unless you are thinking about armored car generals.
