Who is the best Princess? Honestly, I can't say anything because I only got till Isabella. Do you have already Sakurako ? If not, don't forget to finish again your best conquest after a few missions or rank-up of your generals. Your Asian score will continiously increase with more progress. (Roundbreaks (big loss of years) for Asia, are in europe after round 30,40,50. And for american conquests after round 25,35,45 ...)

I am not spending much less time on games now and I am trying out wc3 now. So no Sakurako yet.

Imo as a non s&l and no swapping items player
Isabella > Lan > Sophia > Sakurako > Kate > Victoria > Fatimah > Maria
Isabella is amazing. Very fast and very deadly
Lan is very good. She would be perfect if leadership was swapped to geography. However, without a war horse her movement is rage inducing bad.
Sophia does way more damage than Isabella but loses the movement and training stars. Still, as she is unlocked very early and has good skills, she is amazing too.
Sakurako - Basically a great artillery, cavarly, and infantry general all in one. She is better than Scharnhorst on artillery, better than Oudinot and Dobeln on infantry, and better than golitsyn on cavarly. The fantastic movement, training stars, and skills makes her a very strong general after a lot of investment. I’d make her cavarly/infantry only tho as you do get sophia and isabella.
Kate - best navy general in the game.
Victoria - an above average infantry general and a mediocre navy general. She isn’t amazing at either, and Sakurako is a much better choice due to her flexibility. If you have Lannes, Wellington, Washington, or Poniatowski, you probably won’t ever use Victoria on infantry anyway. Imo the most overrated.
Fatimah - a great economic general that is very fast on light infantry. Replace her with Kosciusko who can travel 4 hexes on light infantry with some boots later on in the game. But still definitely overhated.
Maria - A mediocre infantry general that you can use for a while. She ain’t bad as she is better than generals like cornplanter and hull. But she also only has one good skill and that is formation

Oh yeah and forgot to mention. You don’t actually have to train salurako at all. Jusf give her a ferguson and another rifle. Or the cavarly pistol and cavarly sword

Untrained Victoria has a lot of competitors but once she gets up to 5 stars is as good as most, right? Defense art and assault seem to trigger pretty regularly. The Bugle/ Mass Fire combo is what you are looking for, but the lack of leadership is tough to replace.

Thank you for the note littlecorporalExact this I noticed yesterday again: Victoria's Assult Art seem to trigger pretty often. I use always the same unit im my grind in Eylau. Compare to my dissappointing Lan recordings with less than 3%, Victoria got pretty often AA - I did not record it but quite regular (I didn't use her for longer - this can be also a factor - she came close to 10% (feeling)!) The only change: after 6 months I made it a 4-General grind (10.6%)

The Bugle/ Mass Fire combo is what you are looking for, but the lack of leadership is tough to replace. The problem is no leadership. Anytime victoria’s morale decreases, her output becomes pretty mediocre. She is a good princess but not a great one for this reason imo. An infantry general without leadership, regardless of the rest of their skills cannot be perfect

She isn’t amazing at either, and Sakurako is a much better choice due to her flexibility. If you have Lannes, Wellington, Washington, or Poniatowski, you probably won’t ever use Victoria on infantry anyway. Imo the most overrated. What do you mean... replace Lan's leadership with geo? Nah. Geo only maxes your cav movement to 6 hex for light/heavy cav, assuming you have 5* mov and 2x saddles. Leadership is worth more than that 1 hex because 5 is already pretty fast, man. If you really want geo so badly, then replace Surprise instead. WDYM Sakurako is better than Oudinot/Dobeln/Golitsyn??? WDYM?? Sakurako is a generalist. Cannot outperform specialists like those you mentioned. Oudinot has formation over her, Dobeln has mass fire (extra item slot for +6 atk), and Golitsyn has surprise. For infantry, Bugle is less useful bcz there are so little terrain disadvantage for them. Formation about equal level to Bugle, just for Inf. So Oudinot is better. Dobeln's mass fire lets you have +12 atk regardless of hp, and that's so much better than what any other atk skill can do. Admitted he have no training star, but he can heal up by sheer dmg. Golitsyn I guess is marginally better. But if you're talking about Sakurako's training stars here, for cavalry, as they deal a lot of dmg, they gain chevrons too fast and ur not recommended to train them anyways. It is useful but situational. Kate is NOT the best Navy gen. Navigation is not a combat skill, and fire damage prevented by Fireproof is actually very negligible and even replaceable with an item. Steersman is an excellent skill. Sure. But Jervis is definitely superior to Kate as he has both Leadership and Steersman, making him very tanky. A desirable quality in Navy. Victoria is not gonna be used anyways bcz u have IAP gens?? Excuse me, most ppl don't spend on this game. This is the biggest reason why we WILL USE Victoria. And most of those IAPs are also terrible in comparion. Victoria is very powerful. I can approve Lannes, but the rest are terrible. Wellington- Econ Master is replaceable by superior items, Banner is trash, Bugle is not as good as Strike/Accurate, and Leadership is the only good thing he have. He's even outmatched in training stars. Washington- Econ Master replaceable, Banner trash, I guess he has Leadership/Mass Fire. AA+DA is usually better than Leadership, and both have mass fire. Poniatowski requires too much training and Fireproof is just terrible. Geo is not infantry. Poni only has leadership/assault, and Lannes has Mass fire with those two. Outmatched. Poniatowski's not even that good tbh. Overrated. I do agree lack of Leadership makes her sad, but we have to cope. She's free, and good. Most of those IAPs don't offer anything superior to her other than just Leadership, anyways. You can just use Rowland from tier-1 pool if you need leadership too badly.

Sakurako is powerful and flexible in the field because she deprives all forms of evasion on all land units and can be posted to any of them, and she is a useful substitute for Lan until you can do an ultra-fast run and/or get enough campaign stars (it has been demonstrated that you can get Lan without doing any campaigns). Not to be underestimated. If her fourth skill were Leadership or Geography, she would be overpowered.
Sophia is not as fast as Isabela and doesn't deprive artillery evasion, but she's more valuable in her own way because her attack skills (siege master, spy) are applicable to infantry and cavalry too and because she is by far the most available.
Victoria is a trap in that both Assault Art and Defence Art are RNG-dependent, and forcing them with Save-Load is a potentially exhausting process, especially DA. Only on infantry does she carry her own inbuilt Snare Drum. At full health, she literally only has ONE skill that is always active without S/L. In that respect, she is literally no better than Sakurako if you gave Sakurako the same number of infantry stars!

If the final four general lineup is Isabella, Lan, Sakurako, and Victoria + items, you will be covered in any situation, even without using generals to train them. A lot of scenarios are naval and having Victoria's 4 stars plus two propellers or two +2 attack items is very helpful.

Even on four slots there are some decent navy gens (Ushakov if you're not willing to spend, Nelson if you are), so that's something to consider with Victoria. Mass Fire + Bugle is a really good combo, just keep her away from Cavalry
