He's an excellent strong admiral with amazing availability and arguably the 3rd strongest allied admiral.

Get Nimitz. He is a beast Why pay 555 medals more for just an additional star in Navy and Wolfpack? Spruance is much better.

I think nimtz is a good purchase because (for me at least) mountbatten and cunningham (along with lvl 5 navy tech) don't have enough firepower to clear the marianas island campaign

Yes, because aura skills are just that good. I can't tell if you are being Sarcastic or not... You do realize that aura skills give +15 unconditional attack in both phases. That's three stars of ability. Not to mention that aura skills buff other units.

Yes, but that is a lot of medals for that. What do you mean by that? The innate abilities that a general has? Aura skills just build on that to make a general's high amount of ability better. If Halsey had dive bombing or carpet bombing instead of air force cluster, he would be rated way lower.

I mean that I personally wouldn't spend 555 medals for 20 attack and 15 attack around you, but It is still a viable option.

The skill states, "Own attack +15 as well as that of (Insert unit type) allies 2/3 grids around".
