Need some information please, anyone lemme know what do those medals rewarded from Conquest Challenges do? The description says they increase training levels of Infantry/Cavalry/Artillery/Ship... but if I reached the MAX training level already, do they increase the training level once more??
And the second question, I reached near max training for infantry (campaign stage VIII), the recommended team of generals with almost level IV skills, should I go for Conquest challenge now, or go for history mode (which stage, please) to farm for those precious Silver medal to get my gens level V skills... or maybe Campaign Challenges??? Simply which between Conquest Challenges, History modes, and Campaign Challenges.

You will receive your rewards only 3 times for completing them. After that only coins. Probably the easiest are German missions. People usually have 2 elite German Artillery generals and Moltke. It is more than enough. |

After I reach Max technology level and another level from conquest challenges (theoretically level max +1), do the AI in the Conquest challenges and History modes still have 2 more tech levels than me or just 1? 2. I heard that we can farm for medals in history modes, the first time for Prussian mission I got 3 silver medals, some thousand coins, and a silver medal. After that, it’s randomly give me coins and 1 book or 1 silver medal or nothing. But I don’t remember how many times I got those things. Are you sure that we only get rewarded 3 times? |

Also what would be a good tech level and general team for history mode? |

Wait so if you don't get the special award for the first three tries, you won't get them anymore? Since it's not guaranteed from what I assume. Also what would be a good tech level and general team for history mode? These rewards are always there until you perfectly complete this or that mission several times and collect them all. So, our imperfect runs don't "spoil" anything. I would say history mode battles supposed to be the most difficult part of the game. Of course, it is possible to beat some of them before we complete Italian and French campaign challenges. But all in all they are more difficult than anything that campaigns and challenges could offer. American history mode battles are relatively easy though. I remember I completed them with Mac, Grant and Farragut... And only McClellan was fully upgraded. |
