problems
i dont have ricardi , donitz and nagumo
nimitz stay there , at the end of the map
so it too hard to kill
i lost my main ship because too many damn us ships
my tech level is 22221

Nimitz should attack you once your allies die or he could be lured out when Yamamoto's fleet has been sunk.
Aim for lvl 3 navy and inf. The firepower should be enough for a basic clear.
I cleared it without any additional admirals and navy lvl 2 so I really don't know what else to say.

I did it by putting Yamashita on the costal arty on the island that initially had the 2 enemy infantry. Also I gave him da90/53. But this is one of the hardest missions for the Axis Campaign imo. Don't remember if I got Nagmuo when I first cleared it but I definitely needed to get him in order to perfect clear him. Now is a great time to get an Admiral (preferably don't make the mistake I did and get Donitz).

Only get Nagumo if you want a strong naval general, but at the same time, want to save medals for something else. |

Sorry, but I honestly don't know how to help. I did this with 2 navy and 2 airforce tech. I put Model and Messe on infantry, put Bock on the carrier, and Ozawa on the battleship. I just concentrated my fleet against the key enemies, but everyone that struggles with this has said that they have done the same strategy.

I didn't get Donitz, I got Nagumo instead.
Thus I'm saying to not follow me and get Donitz because as you correctly pointed out he is indeed the best naval general in the game.
