the title to this thread is self-explanatory. I wanted to ask this because I just finished Attack Of Eagle, and found Cambrai extremely hard. Civil War Favorite: Battle Of Cold Harbor, not really any true reason, except that there are so many ways in which you can play this mission Most Hated: Battle Of Fredericksburg, because the stupid AI Burnside Attack Of Eagle Favorite: Battle Of Amiens. Verdun does give some idea of trench warfare, but you aren't necessarily the one defending. Amiens, however, shows how two Imperial Forts and a tight defense can defeat MacArthur, Petain, Haig, and every other general they throw at you. Most Hated: Battle Of Cambrai, it's not even the difficulty I don't like, it's the dashing around between each town, and almost losing every battle, if it isn't for that one unit you had, you would've lost.

Civil War Favorite: Antietam (Pretty easy mission) Most Hated: Franklin Nashville (Oh my god, when I first did this this was so annoying)
Attack of Eagle Favorite: Spring Offensive (Very satisfying, starts very hard then gets progressively easier) Most Hated: Dogger Bank (Took me forever even after getting near maxed naval tech and Hipper)
The Eastern Front Favorite: Russo-Turkish War (Personally one of my favorite mission, a good historical theme to it) Most Hated: The Great Retreat (Self Explanatory)
Decline of the Ottoman Favorite: Battle of Jerusalem (Easy and simple) Most Hated: 1st Suez (By the time you reach the Suez, half of your units are already dead)
Marine Overlord Favorite: Neuve Chapelle (Flank em and spank em) Most Hated: Pozieres (The Germans are endless and coming in all directions, and your ally falls like a house made of cards)
Dual Monarchy Favorite: Przemysl (One of the better missions, I guess) Most Hated: Seventh Isonzo (Hardcore zombie defense)
European Powder Keg Favorite: First Balkan War (Power of friendship) Most Hated: None, for normal difficulty at least
Balkan Lion Favorite: Arges (Is this a joke? You can finish this in 1 turn) Most Hated: 2nd Dorian (The Brits' artillery comes in waves after waves, and most of your good units are dead by the last wave)
Dawn of Victory Favorite: Hundred Days Offensive (I just like it, I guess) Most Hated: 3rd Aisne (Remember the Spring Offensive I talked about? Yeah, but this time you're defending)
Rise of Apennines Favorite: Caporetto (Rest in spaghetti, never forgetii) Most Hated: Beersheba (The final mission of the entire game, the odds are stacked against you. The enemy have tech higher than maxed and hordes of heavy machine gunner that will rip tanks into shreds, still haven't completed this one, need help T_T)

For hated, do we include Challenge Campaigns? There are quite a few tough ones.

It seems you have much to learn, young one, for the Balkan Lion has yet to bare its fangs and the European Powder Keg has yet to explode. Some Challenge versions are truly near impossible without medpacks.

I beat all the normal missions for the normal campaigns and finished all the normal missions for Rise of the Apennines normal difficulty.

I beat all the normal missions for the normal campaigns and finished all the normal missions for Rise of the Apennines normal difficulty. after finishing Attack Of Eagle and making Hotzendorf lvl 4 at everything, I was able to beat the Franco-Prussian War and got Moltke. I STILL wasnt able to win the Russo-Turkish War. It seems like a cavalry mission. When I put everyone in their respective areas of expertise, I fail miserably, but when I use everyone but Hotzendorf in Breastplate Cavalry spam, I got much closer to beating it. If it wasn't for that damned Nadir, who just sits behind his impenetrable line of carronade spam, things would be much easier.
