I was going to post this in Poems but I think this is the only place it could go Gerd von Rundstedt. O Captain! My Captain! BY WALT WHITMAN O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done, The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won, The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring; But O heart! heart! heart! O the bleeding drops of red, Where on the deck my Captain lies, Fallen cold and dead. O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells; Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills, For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding, For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning; Here Captain! dear father! This arm beneath your head! It is some dream that on the deck, You’ve fallen cold and dead. My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still, My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will, The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done, From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won; Exult O shores, and ring O bells! But I with mournful tread, Walk the deck my Captain lies, Fallen cold and dead.

Sorry to hear that Gerd von Rundstedt , it's possible and likely we are all spending way too much time online. I think the pandemic and the lockdowns have a lot to do with it, still everything is best done in reasonable amounts as too much of a good thing (even when it's fun) can sometimes have harmful unintended effects. Well, it's a goodbye for now, I hope we'll see you again sometime in the future when you can spend just a moderate amount of time with us Community group then:

Hey, y'all! I'm sorry this has been so sudden, but I have got to leave these boards. My father is concerned with the amount of time I have spent on this, and he is wary in general of online forums. I will be gone until 2025(!). That is, not posting. I just want to thank y'all for this time, and especially: John Marston - Essentially my closest friend since I first registered. Warlord247 - My biggest pal in GOG3 and shoutbox. eeeeef - Always comic relief. Darth Vader - My mentor in modding and perhaps the greatest modder ever. zink - Another friend in the Lounge. HangryBird - My mentor in GOG3. Grouchy - The wizard of EW5. Nobunaga Oda - A very helpful member, no matter the game. Sun Li-jen of the Glorious RoC - My mentor in WC4 And most of all, Saltin , my favorite forum administrator. This'll be my last post in a while, so, sayonara. A (very) short speech before I go: You know I have swam against the current at times. You know you hate infantry. You know I just want recognition (wait, what?). You know that I have a dream. I hope my time with y'all has been both uplifting, and helpful. I will never forget this, and I hope y'all won't either.I have only been on this forum for a little while, but I think you, and Erich von Manstein have influenced me and helped me the most on this forum. It is a shame I will not get to know you better for the next five years, but I wish you well in your inactivity.

One last thing... Petain was good in WC4, Rommel is far better than Guderian in GOG3, Grazi is better than Rommel in WC4, Bluecher was the best gen of EW4, and Vatutin Legion for the win! Yes! goes out with a blast lmao

Okay, for real! Starting May 20th, I literally can't be on the forum. Our home has no Wifi and I have no Internet, so I can't be on during the Summer.

Yes, but what about a third one, in case they cannot agree on something? I am sure that will not be an issue., and I am also sure they will make sure they have posts before they can join, right @vonmanstein77?

Yes, but what about a third one, in case they cannot agree on something? Then a civil war happens and the whole forum falls apart
