I need help on this one. I can't seem to clear it out. I always keep missing out by a few turns.
Of course, my only general - Ulysses .S. Grant and no upgrades and I even don't have enough gold to purchase a general

I am able to thwart the Jackson but Lee's army comes and takes both the cities under AI control. Though they take the Southern one quickly, they always take the eastern city just 1 or 2 rounds before |

Though they take the Southern one quickly, they always take the eastern city just 1 or 2 rounds before Recruit a Machine Gun and deploy Grant on it. Let a militia remain at the city and spawn light cavalry whenever possible. Destroy all the starting Artillery with Grant. After you destroy each unit near your city except Stonewall, quickly go for lee's rear while sending some troops to block his army from moving close to the city. Destroy weaker units of Confederates first then attack lee. |

Gettysburg is actually a pretty easy mission, so I suggest clearing that and getting Sheridian. |

Grant and no upgrades and I even don't have enough gold to purchase a general 1. Get Sheridan and Farragut 2. Deploy your generals in high tier units. 3. Priority one, Jackson. Eliminate him and his army. 4. Note that you only need 2 cities to win. The southern one can die. 5. In the middle of the campaign, Lee will spawn. Keep Grant to counter him and send your stronger units (no generals though) to fight the attack on the southern city andmove your weaker units and generals to Hooker's eastern city. 6. If Lee's army grows too strong, spawn some units. EDIT: Semi-daily missions can get you 3000-ish gold a day with one cycle, use this to your advantage. |

So do the star missions give us generals? my free generals are: Sheridian from Gettysburg Farragut (I forgot what mission I got that from) Stonewall Jackson (I forgot that one too) Moltke (Franco-Prussian War) Hipper (Battle Of Heliogland Bight) Many of your free generals will be coming from the Civil War, so fill out those star missions. You'll need them for Liege and Cambrai. Get an arty general with your money after the civil war. Everyone says Ivanov or Besseler, but i'm managing with making Hotzendorf OP. |

Hotzendorf is good but you will forget him when you have Ivanov/Beseler. |

Hipper doesn't come from Heligoland, Sheridan is from Antidam, Jackson is from Gettysburg, and Farragut is from the Peninsular Campaign. I think Looff comes from Heligoland. |
