In fact we have to play all modes of the game to promote our SF successfully. I still don't have any idea of what the first type of resources means, but promotion costs are rather high...   |

You get the Special Forces books by winning Challenges and Unlocking Supply Crates. These Crates usually take 6 hours to unlock or can be unlocked with 50 Medals. Game is also really tricky in the sense that the Books are all random ... Sooo good luck finding Arty ones  |

It is frustrating that we can't progress without waiting because crates' space is rather limited  I opened one crate forcefully but it is a dead end to spend 50 medals each time. We have to wait then... |

And it seems we don't need additional generals. Maybe just for collection or to complete "achievements".

I’ve reached level 9 with no specific efforts. It looks like you need all best gens and no more than 7 at one time. But sometimes you need in one battle 4 arty, 5 tanks, 5 inf or pure naval battle. Ive upgraded health of Patton and Guderian for 1 star, helping on mid tank. And you need to be close to level 6 in tech to advance

Annoying thing is that you can’t restart and quit mission - only surrender and loose some progress points

Somewhat underwhelming update at first sight
If You don't have more campaigns and conquets to beat why do You need all these upgrade stuff? The gens anyway will only be upgraded by the time there is nothing to beat even these Antarctica challenges...

I play it as there are 2 missions I haven’t 3-stars yet
And no new game from ET

I find the challenge mode kinda fun, although obviously not as good as the campaign. @ irvin, How the (explict) did you get to lvl9 without effort, I actually had to go into super strategy try hard mode from lvl8 onwards. Also from lvl 10 you get to use 8 generals. I also hate the 6 hour Cool-down on boxes, but the higher the lvl the more shoot you get from them. Also @ andrei, I think you play the challenge and upgrade your units to get even further through the challenge. :/ |

Until mid-level 9 it was quite simple. Just rush and kill Of course you need to follow all basic rules and strategies, learnt from campaigns, but it’s quite obvious from beginning what to do. Sometimes I stand for 1-2 moves to get AI close for first fire. I also try to destroy heavy art first Now I’m at 1000 points at level 9, and I start loosing , especially in naval fights , but don’t spend much time with game I guess that level 10 will be possible only with max tech and max special items ( I am not at max for all yet) |

I’m level 5 navy and level 4 with air, Donitz and Nimitz are with me , but the area is small , and it’s not possible to benefit from strategies. AI is just overwhelming you with heavy battleships (there are double units as well)
