I am currently stuck at Union 4. It's a very hard level. No F2P guide currently exists for my current setup. The existing guides here are not feasible because they use high-level ion cannon lasers and premium generals. Union 4 is basically fighting on a four-fromt war: one in Indonesia, one in Australia, one in Borneo, and one in Thailand.
To those who already finished Union 4, I want to hear your tips. Neither nukes/missiles nor the artillery/tanks works. I have Guderian, Govorov, Patton, Badoglio, Konev, Goring, Rommel, all not promoted; and EC commander (Colonel, 3 star artillery/movement, Lvl2 Plain Fighting/Art. Barrage/Explosives).

Hello guys! I recently made a breakthrough at Union 4: Rescue in South [East] Asia. It is a very challenging level. You have to attack and defend on four fronts: Malaysian Peninsula front, mainland SEA front, Borneo front and Australian front.
Thanks to this guide, I had an idea and was able to replicate the results.
The key is not to deploy all six generals. You will only need four. Also, you will not invest too much in nukes, since I won only by using the pre-made hydrogen nuke bomb and one atomic bomb. The income you generate must go mostly to deploying units for the defense of Rangon, Borneo, and Bangkok.

Recommended Generals
ARMY
Guderian (HP 170): Deploy him on the heavy tank in Sumatra, Indonesia. He must sail to Australia to capture Darwin.
Govorov (HP 120): Deploy him on the field artillery in Sumatra. He must sail to Borneo and capture the city there with the aid of a battleship. If you could promote him to M General, go for it as to lessen our dependence on RNG.
Patton (HP 200): The cracker of Yangon. He must capture and defend it for a few rounds.
Customized General (HP 170): Patton's best friend. He will help on defending his rear. If Bangkok suddenly becomes vacant, take it immediately and let Custom General defend it.
Stats: M General, 3 artillery stars, 3 marching stars, Lvl 3 Plain Fighting, Level 2 Explosives, Level 2 Artillery Barrage. Konev and Bai C.X. may substitute
NAVY
Goring (HP 280): Using ballistic missiles is ineffective and costly. Deploy him on the aircraft carrier in the defense of West Malaysia and Sumatra, and in aiding Patton and Customized General.
Any of Ozawa (HP 100), Yamamoto (HP 230) or even none (refer to the Recommended Tech section): The battleship will crack the city in Java, Indonesia that might be Jakarta. Hopefully, while Govorov marches to Borneo, it will serve as a distraction for the aliens.

I have all nine resources wonders (oil, steel, and gold). You will need them all to ensure you can deploy strong units to defend your cities since you only have limited beginning output.
Guide
1. Move the Commando and Armored Car downwards to serve as a defense in Singapore. Deploy Patton on the Super Tank and march him to the tile just below the land mine. Create a Field Artillery and deploy there the Custom General. Deploy Govorov on the Field Artillery and Guderian in the Heavy Tank in Sumatra. Both of them, along with the Motorized Infantry and Battleship (You must deploy a Navy General if you have low navy tech, or you may not if you have high navy tech) will attack and take Jakarta. Deploy Goring on the Air Carrier to defend in the Indian Ocean and aid Patton and Custom General.
2. Patton should approach Bangkok. Custom General will move upwards to Bangkok to anticipate its eventual vacancy and defend Patton's rear while he attack Rangon. Jakarta will be captured on round 3. Guderian will march towards Darwin. Govorov and the battleship will march upwards to Borneo.
3. Patton, by round 3, will start to attack Rangon. Custom General will stand near Bangkok and start defending it while anticipating its eventual fall. You may craft an atomic nuke just in case of emergency.
4. By round 4, Patton can capture Rangon. Custom General continues to defend Bangkok. Place the battleship not too near to the alien fortress but just northwest of Kalimantan, Borneo to start attacking the city. Place Govorov on the sea tile adjacent to the plain tile just exactly southwest of Kalimantan, Borneo. Guderian must be already near the coeast of West Australia. Goring will continue to defend against the aliens from Indian Ocean.
5. By round 5, remove Patton from Rangon and attack approaching aliens. Patton, with the mercy of his street fighting and ace forces will defend Yangon. If there is not much aliens, remove him temporarily from Yangon and place a unit (Armored Car, Tank, Field Artillery) to preserve his health from being attacked by an alien fortress so that he could have enough HP to defend Yangon himself later on. Govorov will land on the plain tile and start attacking Kalimantan along with the battleship, and pray that he will last long.
6. By round 6, Guderian will reach the safe part of shorelines. You must land only on either of the two land tiles 2-3 tiles away from Darwin. By now, you must capture Kalimantan using paratroopers and begin defending it. If necessary, nuke it. Bangkok would definitely vacant, and capture it using Custom General. Continue to defend Yangon.
7. By round 7, Guderian will be able to approach Darwin closer. Continue to defend Yangon, Kalimantan, and Bangkok.
8. By round 8-9, nuke Darwin and send some MRBs. Capture it using Guderian.
