Why is my food supply decreasing/staying the same when I'm producing much more than I'm using?

Why is my food supply decreasing/staying the same when I'm producing much more than I'm using? Always try to avoid overruns - everything more than 9999 is lost Well it's like I have 9200 food and I'm producing 1100 and using 800 every turn, but my food stays the same at 9200 and sometimes even goes down. I don't know why this happens.

I don't know why this happens. It adds then subtracts. So what happened is 9200 + 1100 = 9999 (spillover) - 800 = 9199. You should trade some of your food for gold.

You should avoid these loss for spillovers, especially for gold. For this reason it pays out to maximize π°+π in your final turn, before to finish the conquest. If not, your food consumption (800π) will cost you 200π§ on the calculation of years. Good to know: Trading abnormalities
