“We interrupt this program with urgent news. After months of fighting in Normandy, our forces have been defeated. I repeat, our forces have been defeated. We have received word from Churchill what some of the causes of loss were. A Nazi spy in the top ranks of our command made all attempts at fooling or distracting the enemy pointless. They were informed of the whole plan. Where every landing would be, what fortifications our bombers would target. Everything.
This, combined with the fact that crucial supplies from the U.S needed for supplying our troops never arrived due to Nazi U-boats sinking the cargo ships, is what lead to our defeat. Nearly none of the German fortifications were destroyed before our bombers were shot down, so any troops who landed were shredded on sight. We did eventually make land, but due to our paratroopers being shot down, the bridges that allowed the Nazis to gain reinforcements were not destroyed, which enabled them to eventually take back our land gain simply by overwhelming us.
Fear not however my fellow citizens of the crown. Our soldiers, family, friends, did not die in vain. Our months of fighting have distracted the Nazi soldiers, and forced them to divert forces away from their eastern front. Our sacrifice has allowed the Soviet soldiers to build up force, and they are now driving through Europe as we speak. We will try to build up our military force again, but with the help of our Russian allies, the war is won either way.
God save the King.”

“Rejoice comrades! After years of fighting, the Soviet banner waves over the Reichstag! We have made them pay for the siege of Leningrad! We have made them pay for the massacre of Stalingrad! Their city of Berlin is no longer their home of facist powers! Our soldiers' lives were not lost in vain!
However, the fighting is not over. The cowardly Adolf Hitler has retreated to France, and the Nazis have made a last line of defense. So while tonight is a night of celebration, I ask you to give your sweat and blood for the Motherland once more! We have dedicated ourselves to the liberation of this continent! We have dedicated ourselves to the eradication of the Third Reich, and their facist ideals! And with one final push, we will succeed! URA!
Glory to the Motherland!”

“Hello everybody, and welcome back to Free French Radio! I am happy to announce that the war is over! As you know, the Red Army finally pushed into Paris a month ago. However, just yesterday the official terms of surrender from the filthy krauts have been made! For the first time in half a decade we may walk down the streets of Paris without seeing those ghastly red banners.
For the time being however, I suggest not taking a stroll through our beautiful city, since the battles have made it considerably less… beautiful. Reconstruction of the great city of lights has started, but it will take some time before the status of the town, or even the nation, return to normal. Speaking of reconstruction, there are ongoing debates as to whether or not France should join the soviet union.
Whether or not we join, I do believe that we desperately need to reconsider this ‘third republic.’ Considering how well the Third Reich did, it seems as though that number is cursed for nations. Faced with how well communism has been doing, I think it may be time for a switch. I however, am not a politician, simply a humble reporter.
As I end this broadcast, I am proud to say, La Révolution a gagné, vive le syndicat!”

“Greetings citizens of Russia. Much excitement has taken place over the last few months! As you are well aware, reconstruction has been proceeding in France, with many men and materials being provided from the USSR. Well, out of gratitude France has decided to join our Union! For the first time in all of human history, all of Europe has been united into under one truly unified country. Not only that, but all the people of those countries, no matter who they were before, are on equal footing. Prosperity awaits!
In other news, multiple monuments are being built across the USSR in honour of our brave and valiant men who died in battle. Monuments will be built in Stalingrad, Leningrad, and Normandy. For it is not just a loss of life for us, but also for our allies. The best monument however, is being built in Berlin. One unfortunate result of the Nazi invasion was the halt and deconstruction of the Palace of Soviets. To make up for this, the Palace will now be built in Berlin, in place of the Nazi Reichstag.
To refresh your memory, the Palace of Soviets acts as both a monument to Lenin, and a meeting place for the Cominform. The building will be 415 meters high, and able to house 21,000 people in the main hall. This, my fellow citizens, will be what the rest the world sees of the USSR. A shining palace of victory.
You may be interested to know that many of the workers for the palace will not be Russian. We’ve had many German workers volunteer, including ex-Nazi officers. So fear not, your labour will not be required.
That is it for your daily broadcast of All-Union Radio.
Glory to the Motherland!”

“Greetings comrades, and welcome to a new year! I am happy to announce that you will be hearing my voice a lot more, since Free French Radio has been made into the official broadcast channel of the PSDF. Now, let’s get into the meat of today’s broadcast, shall we?
You have noticed some commotions on the street recently, and a stronger presence from our police force. I want to assure you all that this is very normal. Some residents of France are still stuck in the ways of the Republic, and are causing a bit of a ruckus because of it. Not to worry though, most of the offenders have been caught, the police are simply there to discourage anyone else from making a commotion.
The monument building has continued around PSDF, along with the reconstruction and beautification of this fine Union. If you too would like to contribute to making France a better place, simply report to your nearest job post, and request to join reconstruction (note, this does not at all guarantee your placement onto the reconstruction team.)
One last important announcement before we go off air. An USSR wide mandate straight from Stalin has just been released, requiring every able bodied person to do farm or factory work for three and a half years. Although it may seem a demanding task, it is for the greater good of the Union at large, so that we may have access to the resources we need to sustain ourselves. That is all for this broadcast.
vive le syndicat!”

“Good morning ladies and gents. I know that we are all hoping for good news in these somber times, but I’m afraid I don’t have any. We’ve lost any meaningful connection with the USSR since the monuments at Normandy began construction, And France, now the PSDF, has cut ties with us as well. The intel we have gathered seems promising though.
Throughout multiple sections of France there has been a steady growth of civil unrest, with multiple riots breaking out a day. So far all such attempts have been put down by the government, and we’re not sure what is happening to those taken into custody.
While the soviets may have been a shining hope during the war, it is clear that they are becoming a menace. With their growing supplies, and constant industrialization, there is no telling if and when a new war will break out. Considering that the USSR now holds power over all of mainland Europe since the creation of the United people of Spain, it is certainly important that we remain prepared, even if they never plan on launching an attack.
Which leads me to my last point. With the communist plague slowly growing abroad, it is also starting to take root here in the UK. If you find out that someone is communist, report them to the nearest police station immediately. Those turned in for communist sympathies will not be arrested, however a very watchful eye will be kept on them. We cannot risk one of the last countries in the free world becoming communist.
Anyway, that is all for today.
God save the King.”
