the problems is nimitz and the damn american on tank For Nimitz, save some ships for the final push or use air attacks to bombard him, assuming he remains at the point south of the other island. For the tank gen, coordinate your landing troops and ships' movements to take him out swiftly. Make sure you block the naval reinforcements from landing so that your land forces can keep pummelling the nearby ships. At most 1 admiral is needed, but 2 may help at sea. The rest are to fight on land. |

I did destroy all their coastal forts and defeated the fleet around Midway (Except that general east of Midway) |

That's odd. Normally they'll appear after the first wave is smashed. Perhaps destroying a certain number of enemy ships or disabling certain coastal forts should do the trick? I did destroy all their coastal forts and defeated the fleet around Midway (Except that general east of Midway) Restart and try again. You are provided with a small flotilla of landing ships. Might be a glitch. |

Looks like I'll need to defeat the key units without landing which will be tough. |

John Marston , here are some tips  Send you main forces north so you can replenish them in the 2 ports if needed. Send the other ships south so you destroy the enemy ships that will be a danger to your landing crafts.  Continue the path in the first picture and land on the green zone with the landing craft you received on turn six. Buy a battleship for Osawa  when you capture midway, Nimitz will start attacking you. Start economizing the air from your carriers. 
keep you navy alive, buy a submarine, a destroyer and a carrier and save your carrier money to kill Nimitz in one turn

Had you or you allies captured the northern port yeah. I think it was Yamaguchi who sat on that port, only to get annihilated the next round. |
