He conquered the MIddle East, yes, but Napoleon Conquered all of Europe, while outnumbered, with a lower economic production rate than Britain. Hannibal failed incredibly (even with his elephants, only two survived the trek through the Alps). The Sword of Allah was very impressive, and one of the best commanders in History, but not the Best. BTW, I still like Heihachiro, just I can see how Yi-Sun-Sin (a.k.a Neptune) would get that recognition. Maybe Heinrici, Kuribayashi, or Ushijima for the greatest general. |
