I still don't think you need to grind for two weeks to get Guderian. How is Operation Marita poorly done?. If you really need a gen for Eastern 1941, there are a lot of better options than Konev. 1 if we talk about playing for free you will not get guderian before operation marita if you have previously bought leeb 2:I hate operation marita for a thousand and one reasons and one of those is that by the time you're there you don't have enough generals or tech to make the "three stars" and that it can't be done because it has to be perfect movements on your part I understand it but here You choose or you get 2 stars doing it slowly and with a little luck or you get 1 of the way to pass from all but there it only depends on you this mission sucks 3: Well at the beginning I was without medals because at that time I bought Mainstein and I got the 1k I needed for Guderian I came up and I bought it then I had a 165 medals I felt cheated because they said that I could use Mainstein on two sides but I did not know what I had to give the option to add a general to the group so I went to the army groups I did almost all of them + other ways to get medals and well at the end I had some medals I bought roskovisky without thinking about it and for stats I grabbed konev that for me it is very good for its price CHANGE MY MIND 1. I was talking about grinding for your first general whether that be Guderian or Leeb, so I was not talking about grinding for two generals. 2. I think it was a good mission. I got a perfect clear with just Bock, Messe, and 2/2/2/1/1 tech. Took me only two tries. You just need to make the most out of your tanks and paratroopers. 3. Konev costs 710 medals for 1 bad skill (Snow fighting) and 2 okay skills (Encouraged and Crossfire). He is a hybrid that does not preform well for his price in non-snow areas. He may be good in Eastern 1941, but his strength will drop off immediately after the theater. He is outclassed in all three types of army units; there are better alternatives that unlock at around the same time. Infantry: Tassigny, Vasilevsky Armor: Timoshenko, Vatutin, Monty, Roko Artillery: Chuikov, Govorov

So, f that's not yet clear: Govorov is amazing and Konev average
Govorov is useful anytime, Konev on snow.
Govorov is worth his price, Konev is overpriced.
Why would you buy Konev, if you could have Govorov with just a couple more medals?

He is good on all 3 land units: Tank better than Timo, Arty Better than Chuikov, and Inf better than Tassigny.

In non-snow areas, Konev either has less damage or not enough damage to compensate for less bulk.

Tassigny is better than Konev on infantry
Konev is similiar to Chuikov on Artillery (maybe a bit better) and imo worse than timoshenko on tanks.
The thing is as someone said: he can be used on either without big loss of efficiency. That's not really a problem in this game though. Getting specialized gens is better, especially in 1944 and 1945, where hybrids won't do

I remember I was not talking any gen before I saved for Guderian as 1st buy It was not easy, but I never regret it To have power to 3 star scenarios, normally I played half of next one, upgraded tech and got new tech, and after was coming back to previous
