Maybe a central splitting.. since everybody at centrals were or are away (me included). So that all centrals have to choose which of the other 2 alliances they want to join.
Plusside: the war can continue without the centrals being nothing
Downside: if some centrals decide to join a faction, than that faction will be stronger, which is unfair for the other faction
