Mission Objective and Overview -
You have to destroy the multiple generals and also capture Vienna.
Generals used - Sophia, Maria, Fathima and Isabella
Use all my troops to make a quick dash into the enemy's center. The stables there would be your mainstay for the entire campaign. Don't bother to upgrade them. Just spam cavalry and if extra resources do remain, upgrade your cities. And also, upgrade them at the beginning, when your main army is attacking the enemy center.
Now, place your artillery pieces to bombard Vienna from distance. Use your remaining troops to defend them. In the north, DO NOT ATTACK THE ENEMY!! Just block their way and the won't do anything to your Vienna siege. Now comes the main problem. The Southeastern front of the enemy comes alive. I used my Princesses - Sophia, Maria and Isabella and destroyed hem, though with heavy casualities. It's just that you cannot avoid them and they will prove to be the thorn. Fathima would be really useful here as economy is very important
On sieging Vienna, make sure a unit of high health capture it. And then, wrap it up. I prefer to keep Napoleon away from the battleground, and also, do not hesitate to pull your generals back when injured, into one of the cities. Shuffle them and recall them to the frontline, when the recovered sufficiently enough, not necessarily full health.
This is a mission I recommend for Medal and Academy refresh grinding.

I use Nappy to deal with the Southeastern Front

This is a guide to the campaign without generals.
Intro: This campaign is significantly more difficult than preceding ones and requires patience and resourcefulness. You have 8 generals and need to defeat 9 of the enemy. The battle generally proceeds with a different general entering the fray, Kleinmayer, Johann I, Buxhoedeven, Kutuzov, Miloradivih, and finally Bagration. Vecsey, Archduke J, and Leiberich stay in their respective facilities. Before Round 18, Blucher, Alexander, and Kollowrat only sometimes moves.
In addition to the generals, a lot of enemy units come at you particularly artillery. Without using generals on the top units, I got slaughtered pretty quickly playing aggressively. On the second run through I tried to build a single formation light artillery every Round after 3 when most. French light artillery builds with two chevrons (-4 damage) so they can survive a hit or two.
Kleinmayer is the first to attack and can do significant damage. Put Napoleon in the fence next to the northern middle fort. If you don't Kleinmayer will and hold up your attack. Move everyone else that way. On Round 2, move napoleon to the bunker, surround Kleinmayer, and start attack with fort.
In the South, the double grenadiers attack first followed by 2 double heavy artillery, a double heavy cav, and a double light artillery, followed by Johann. From your large fort to the bunker South of the Danube, the mountain range provides a good defensive position. Set up there with your infantry, use Bernadotte to help flank and Davout time attack. Vecsey doesn't attack so you can ignore him as you deal with the artillery first.
Bring Davout North of the danube and use him and Soult to double tap advancing generals. You want to get there morale reduced by at least 50% before attacking. Use those light artillery. Concentrate on cavalry as they can hit multiple units. Keep Murat strong as he excels at killing wounded enemies.
Above all, don't rush ahead. HRE builds a lot of artillery that will pound you if you rush ahead, but if you flank them and attack from defensive positions they weaken quickly. Also, build some fortifications when needed. Saving your generals damage is more useful than units.

You too! Trotsky is right, with and without generals is a big difference, especially if you can add all 6 generals.

Erich Mannstein said the other day that Hannibal Barca beat the game without generals. I had a lot of difficulty trying to complete the last 3 HRE missions Without generals.

I think to remember some short missions, where I could not find a way, to move in time without general (IE. Black Sea Breakout ?) I think from HRE, Sophia can be used for guides. Assuming everyone got her then. Maybe even Fatima. No general guides are very useful for everyone, regardless his lineup.

Which units did you put your princesses on? I do not yet have Isabella. I think I waited too long trying to build the best units for them. I also suspect I erred in trying to capture Vienna before the Russian generals were destroyed. I suspect taking Vienna is the final thing you should do.

In short, I'd say that use you army to smash your way to Vienna and occupy it. Bombard Vienna with Davout Soult and any other general you have. Make a defensive structure around them. Put Bernadotte on one of your cities, not necessarily Vienna and upgrade to level 6. He has Economic Expert/Master (Don't remember exactly) and gives you extra income. I think Kutaisov will be helpful here.

I have set up a grind where you can kill 7 generals in one turn, super efficient.

Oh, I'm sure it is. I just wanted to know how you equipped the princesses you actually used. It is not this complicate without generals. Don't rush! Fight only one general a time, one after the other - Encircle them and then one, max two massive attacs. Keep your generals (espec. art) alive. I also secured fist the south, than Vienna and attacked for last Brunn.

Round 1: Kienmayers suicide Kienmayer will try to attack Napoleon, with 9 movement the marked hex is the only point from where he can - this will be his first and last action - encircle and eliminate him in R2. Setup R1 North:
