Event 3 : Berlin Blockade
Stalin instituted the Berlin Blockade (24 June 1948 – 12 May 1949), one of the first major crises of the Cold War, preventing food, materials and supplies from arriving in West Berlin. The United States, Britain, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and several other countries began the massive "Berlin airlift", supplying West Berlin with food and other provisions.
The Soviets mounted a public relations campaign against the policy change. Once again the East Berlin communists attempted to disrupt the Berlin municipal elections (as they had done in the 1946 elections), which were held on 5 December 1948 and produced a turnout of 86.3% and an overwhelming victory for the non-communist parties. The results effectively divided the city into East and West*.

John Marston, considering the current state of my country I think the solution should be obvious. We are currently pointlessly divided, and NATO control of half the capital is simply for political power, and not to help the citizens of my fine country. If you agree to cede the western portion of Berlin, uniting the country, I will let 10,000 immigrants leave per year. No biases will be shown, it will be first come first serve. What do you think of the terms?

We are currently pointlessly divided, and NATO control of half the capital is simply for political power, and not to help the citizens of my fine country. If you agree to cede the western portion of Berlin, uniting the country, I will let 10,000 immigrants leave per year. No biases will be shown, it will be first come first serve. What do you think of the terms? What? That will ruin German economy. You should prepare for military action if necessary but you must not give any concession to those imperialist pigs. You already had conceded Czechia in completely horrible treaty. |

Withdraw your blockade so that people could live in peace |

John Marston you claim to help the people, yet who are you helping? West Germany is under my control. You have no ally you are helping, your half of the capital is simply there as a political pawn! You would rather hold on to this pawn and Hurt the people of Germany, rather than cede it and aquire what you wish! As I stated, if you were to cede the capital I would allow immigrants to leave. That is your goal isn't it? So why are you hesitant? Unless you are using the German people, my people, as a pawn!

You would rather hold on to this pawn and Hurt the people of Germany, rather than cede it and aquire what you wish! As I stated, if you were to cede the capital I would allow immigrants to leave. That is your goal isn't it? So why are you hesitant? Unless you are using the German people, my people, as a pawn! how is he hurting the people of Germany by airlifting thousands of tons of supplies into the city? It seems that you refuse to care about your people as you shut down all roads to West Berlin! I am not aligned with NATO in any way, this is just common sense speaking. |

Ok, guess it's needed for the scenario. Anyway...
If yall cede west Berlin to me, I would Obviously open it up to travel within Germany, and I'll allow 20,000 immigrants to leave ALL of Germany every year.
This situation has brought important info to my attention. I will be shifting focus away from the Autobahn, and instead divert resources to researching better food production techniques.
I ask @vonmanstein77 to join me in this research.

If yall cede west Berlin to me, I would Obviously open it up to travel within Germany, and I'll allow 20,000 immigrants to leave ALL of Germany every year.
