Here it is Gerd von Rundstedt , the guide you waited for so long. I’ll explain the first three turns of the game in the beginning, then I’ll explain how you should separate and move your troops for the rest of the game.
Doesn’t expect to complete this level as fast as I did. My tech is 6-6-6-4-4, most of my generals had between 4 to 2 stars and the special forces I used where almost all lvl max.
First three turn
This was the lineup I used. I think a two infantry, one medium tank, one heavy tank, one navy and one arty is a good general ratio.
You need to take the first city as fast as possible and damage [insert name] the more you can. You need to take the best use of the “attack again” abilities of your tanks and the elephant. Add anti-tank to Yamashita for more damage.

This turn, you’ll mostly want to defeat Auchinleck and the rest of his army. DO NOT capture the airport, it’s what triggers The Gaulle to attack you.
A
next, you need to rush south where Leclerc is stationed. Take the city and do the more damage possible to him. You can capture the airport this turn on the next turn, depending on how fast you think you can defeat Leclerc. You DON’T want to fight DeGaulle and Leclerc at the same time. Divide and Conquer.
Next actions
Now that you have defeated Leclerc, you will need to separate your army in two division.
The first one, comprised of your fastest unit will go south to capture the “yellow” objective. It’ll trigger the arrival of the “Italian Bros”. They’ll be very useful.
After capturing the “yellow objective”, you’ll want to capture the city South-East of El Alamein with these same units, to make sure you “Italian Bros” stay on the bottom of the map.
The second division, comprised of the rest of the units + the following reinforcements (1 heavy, 1 infantry, 1 medium, 1 Heavyartillery), will have to defeat DeGaulle. He’ll either arrive by the Northern Mountains of by the “Valley”.
After defeating him, you’ll want to assemble your division’s forces around the airport, then attack El Alamein.
You now have captured El Alamein and the city South-East of it.
You’ll now want to reunite your two groups and lunch an attack on Alexandria. I suggest you use Anti-Tank to defeat Montgomery the quickest possible, before he does too much damage. He’s the only threat, after that, there’s nothing much left defending Alexandria. I suggest you send one of your Rommel to replenishing and get the following reinforcement (1 HeavyArty, 1 Infantry).
Next conquest is Cairo, which is honestly as easy as eating a piece of cake
I don’t recall any General in Cairo, and if there is, I killed it in one turn. Just move your forces in Alexandria to attack Cairo, where there won’t be much units to defend the city.
You now have the last three red objective to capture. Divide again your group in two division.
The small division will attack the city in the South-East of the map, after that, if you need to do it, move them across the canal to help the second group.
The rest of the units will go north and capture the “canal city”. He’ll, after that, go south and capture the last objective with the help of the smaller division.
Congratulations, you just defeated the 3rd El Alamein.
Navy operations
Don’t dream of big Naval combat, your navy will be obliterated in no time. The only thing you’ll be able to do is to defeat Cunningham. He may try to escape so I suggest you buy reinforcements to beat him (1 Fighter, 1 RegularBomber).
The Italian bros
The trigger to make them appear is the “yellow objective”. If you follow my instructions, they’ll be able to arrive to the objective in the second picture with enough troops to capture it.
Other informations
The trigger for Kesselring forces is defeating all the enemy navy, which, unless you are a boss in naval combat, only happens around turn 20ish.
Around the time where you trigger the Italians, there’s an AI German corps that will appear in the west.
I had all reinforcements discount, so if you don’t have them all, you may not be able to buy everything I did.
Use transport to help Rundstedt to keep up the pace with the rest of your forces
Use both Rommel to kill infantry, Leeb on elephant and Guderian on panther to kill heavy tanks and you infantry to attack artillery and medium tanks.
