I was thinking about countries that are great for speedrunning. I am going to list the mainly recommended 4 here: France '98 UK '98 HRE '98 USA '75
Now let's look at another option: Austria 1809. Sounds strange doesn't it, looking at the obvious advantage that Blue has during this era, but the Coalition gets compensated through massive amounts of generals. As Austria you get Merveldt, John, Radetzky, and Charles. (Also Johann on infantry). 4 great generals, as well as a few more. This is once again another HRE instance. Austria borders Italy, Rhineland, Wallachia, and Poland, as well as easy access to the Ottomans, and once you capture Germany, a front with the French. You know how capturing Anatolia is annoying? Fear no more! Anatolia is much smaller on this map. What about Iberia? That's always a pain. Given some time, Palafox and Beresford will eventually kill Ney and Lannes. There is only one problem: Scandinavia. Steal the farms in Jutland, and then land in Norway to starve the Danish into submission. Dobeln will either be in Russia, or doing absolutely nothing. Take advantage of that.
While it probably won't get you Vic or Lan, it is still very possible to get princesses from this.

For european conquests: France and Austria con give 850years in every time. For GB, I don't know any successful run. I think 1809 with Austria is especially interesting for a no-general conquest. I am not a fan of 1798 conquests, but If you have generals without the evasion skill (Burgle,Strike Accurate) 1798 is the best choice. Later conquests will become really hard, because of the hidden evasion - without knowing why. ( You can't see the reduction and it counts from 100%. So twice -20% is -40% not -36%!) Speedrunning (R31) is interresting for 1798 because of the economy crisis of 98 - 1806 for example you can play directly with the target full ressources within R38

Radetzky is needed elsewhere, and Bubna will never be enough for Ottoman, as they spam quite a bit in 1806, while you can't catch a break because of the sparsity of cities in the Balkans. In 1809, the Polish southern front is poorly defended, making it so that you can break into Krakow with just that light cavalry and light artillery, you have many generals, while the French generals are sparser, and there is no need to attack the UK. Only real problem is Scandinavia and Italy. This is what makes it not as ideal as HRE.

As 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘴𝘬𝘺 mentioned, FR 06/9 is good because they have more industry. Austria 1809 sure is great. I tried UK 98 and completed in 44 rounds, getting Isabella with Sophia, Maria and Fathima. HRE 98 is the usual one and USA 75 helped me get Lan. I never saw the Invincible Indestructible Stonewall (too much?) Lannes dying in the 1809 conquest

Yeah but he didn't die, standing like a rock my point is, you don't have to traverse those god-awful Iberian Sierras and spam. I honestly prefer France '98. France '06 has to deal with the massive amount of spam from Russia and Prussia, which you can prevent by reaching Warsaw first in '98, while in 1809, general dispersion is a major problem for me. I am usually always outnumbered by Prussian or Austrian Generals. There are too many generals on the Iberian front, and not enough on the Rhineland front.

I believe that 1798 is the conquest with the least spam. Every other conquest, except maybe 1812 spam a lot.
