Guide for Fortress Plan

Here it is Georgios Hatzianestis, the guide for Fortress Plan I promised you.

I chose Leeb, Guderian, Rundstedt, Rommel, Yamashita and Kesselring for this guide. I think 2 Heavy, 1 Medium, 1 Arty and 2 Infantry Generals are what’s needed for this conquest.

You will want to defeat the army in the city the quickest possible. I suggest you use Rommel to kill the red circled General on the first turn, so he won’t damage you forces. Try to have taken the city on your second turn so you get these sweet revenues as soon as possible.

Now that you have captured the city, send all your troops south to take Oryol. Make sure to use ranged troops (Rommel, Rundstedt and Leeb) to weaken Vasilevsky and finish him with other troops. Buy reinforcements (1 infantry and 1 Medium) and place them in the northern city so they can hold the Soviet counterattack.





Now that you have taken Oryol, you will want to send Rommel, Leeb and Rundstedt North to defeat the Soviet counterattack. Replenish the rest of the troops (Guderian, Kesselring and Yamashita) and defend Oryol against Rokossovsky’s counterattack (it will be easy to defeat since Rokossovsky was already weakened by you allies). Buy reinforcements (Heavy Artillery) that you will put in Oryol.





Now that both counterattack are defeated, send Guderian and Kesselring to take Kursk as fast as possible, since capturing the city gives you control of a massive German Army in the West. Bring back Leeb, Rommel and Rundstedt to Oryol, were they will unite with Yamashita and go attack the sexy mustach man, Bagramayan. Buy reinforcements (one heavy and one fighter). Use them to secure your northern revenues.





As I said, send Rommel, Rundstedt, Leeb and Yamashita to defeat the hot mustach. Send Guderian and Kesselring to defeat Zuckov (he’s in the mountains). After that, they’ll go help Manstein kill Konev. Keep some units in Kursk until all the units in the area are defeated. Move the Big Western German army to Kursk.

At this point, you should only have to defeat Konev, if Manstain failed at doing it. Send all your forces to his position.


Other informations


My tech is 6-6-6-4-4 and the special forces I used are all maxed, so it’s normal if you canot complete this mission as fats as I did.

I have all FTP discounts on SF so it’s normal if you can’t buy all the ones I bought. 

Remember to replenish you Generals and use you range the more you can.

Use mainly anti-tank infantry and artillery SF.
