I heard a lot of good things about Dobeln, and after using him in conquest I see why. I want to get him but I don't want to spend real money and I don't know if he's an IAP. Idk if he's in the first category of generals where you only need medals, the second category where you need medals and those shields, or the third where you have to pay real money. I refilled the first category many times but have never saw Dobeln there. I only have one emblem and am close to getting two more but I'm stuck on Invasion of Britain for the French campaign and the America Landings for the HRE. If you could tell me where to find Dobeln I'd be grateful. Aside from that, my generals are Weyrother with 4 star infantry, Marmont with 4 star artillery, Arnold, and Dumouriez.

Dobeln is a pretty good pick according to me. He is a second tier general (the shield or medal tier. You can pay in either). Also, you can remove Weyrother, Marmont and Dumoriez. You can fill them with Princess instead.

Dobeln is a good but the lack of training stars is a major drawback. With Victoria, Dobeln, and a 4 star infantry Maria (trained once) Victoria was always my first choice but then it was 50/50 between dobeln and Maria depending on unit and mission.
Are you playing with multiple slots, more than 4?

Are you playing with multiple slots, more than 4? I'm only using four slots. I just beat the French campaign and HRE campaign but only got one shield for some reason. I don't the specific requirements to get each princess. I know you have to beat conquest in a certain amount of time but idk how much turns it is for each princess. It is also very hard to beat conquest quickly, and all of the tutorials on YouTube for how to get princesses use princesses in the conquest, so it's not helpful. |

Use them as they are better with some training. The first one is Sophia, which you will get by finishing under 65 rounds. She is really strong too. |

Dobeln is good if you need an inf gen and have extra slots but if you're only using four slots I wouldn't go for him to be honest. You'll get more output from cav and arty gens like Sophia and Sulkowski than an infantry gen
