The backbone of the squad is the 2-2. I still recommend 3-3 for balance, but feel free to go with 2-4. Just asking, if I want to build a super Crerar type EC (Tank+Artillery+Movement), should I include Desperate or Blitzkrieg? I'd say Blitz. I don't think Desperate is that important. |

Hello there, i need some help with my EC Generals.
I have Whittmann - Katukov -Vasily- Eichelberger - Hartman and Kretschmer - Hoth and Sansoneti.
All with M General Rank or More
I was thinking to make just one EC General with 3stars In artillery and panzer ability.
Adding Inspiring/Explosives/Supply/Plain Fighting AND Ace Commander(i need to unlock the last one)
I have 7205 medalla.

Just build a tank EC for now. So is just better to put him with 5Stars un tank? I have it outlined in my guide. Just follow that procedure but skip Tide of Iron. Afterwards, you can consider an artillery EC. You will eventually sell Katukov, either for Guderian or a second tank EC. |

Fair enough, I didn't count the costs and just guesstimated for Yamamoto. ECs are for sure the way to go when it comes to artillery/tank, adding a few medals here and there have basically made them the most versatile generals in the game. I'm still not totally convinced on the infantry/air EC and rather maybe building another artillery EC with a few infantry/air stars to serve as a versatile use guy would be a better idea. Same here, adding Organization (and Shelter) for an inf/air EC seems a bit too much for me. But we'll see what 1960 challenge conquest will bring  Now that the western operations and 1960 challenge conquest are out, I believe infantry-air is more favorable than artillery for the third EC. An operation oriented lineup should have 3 tanks, 2 artillery, and 1 infantry. |

I got Guderian, Patton, Hoth, Govorov, Sansonetti, the italian EC built for arty with 4 stars, Major, 3 stars plain fighting, 2 stars artillery barrage and 2 stars explosive. So 3 tanks, 2 arties and 1 navy/Air. What should I do now? I think I should build up another EC, but how? Given that I should also upgrade a little Guderian and Govorov' s health

Given that I should also upgrade a little Guderian and Govorov' s health You should probably get another artillery. 2 tanks is enough to beat every scenario mission and challenge conquest, but you might have some trouble on later operations. If you want a third artillery you can get Sikorski or another artillery ec, built the same way as your italian one. Although instead of getting a 4th artillery star, which is kind of a rip-off, you can invest in skills instead. My artillery ec only has 3 artillery stars but because I put a level 4 artillery medal on him, and he has level 4 plains and level 3 ace commander, he can do up to 160 damage. |

Just give him a few artillery medals and he'll be a solid artillery general. You will drop Hoth and/or Patton eventually. |

Most of the times 3 tank (ec, Guderian, Katukov) and 3 air (Goring, Yamamoto, Sansonetti) or if I couldn't produce super tanks in the early turns then arty ec (who has 4 air stars now) and 2 tanks + 3 air.
And even with expropriation lv2 I still find my primary tank generals mostly operating at below 50% (I think high HP targets get prioritized by enemy nukes and missiles). So tide of iron stays for now, even though a little extra dmg from inspiration wouldn't hurt to one shot enemy tanks.
Operation Overlord (3 tanks, 2 arty ec, Goring) I think is too time consuming to farm, I only completed it a few times. The Paris route on hard is imo more difficult and might profit from an inf ec but for now I'm holding on to my medals. Since I never got Vasilevsky, maybe I need to experiment with Falkenhorst once he shows up before committing to inf stars and skills.

Do you currently have 6 decent gens you can always deploy? If so neither is a rush. If you only have like 3 and still crappy ECs, buying the gens will propell you forward even if you dont upgrade their health immidietly (which you need to do eventually bc its low). If you already have a team and its just expending the team i would focus on raising tank ec |
