DombrowskiType of General : Cavalry
Price : 6 Emblems
Dombrowski is a very good general. 4 stars in cavalry and movement means that he can move decently fast. His 3 training stars too are good. Talking about his skills, he has Strike and Surprise, which are cavalry focused and adds up his output. Banner is expensive and Defense Art is not reliable. These skills make him fall short on being a "Must Have" general as they are rarely used. However, I personally played with him and given him a snare drum and cavalry pistol, he goes on to a rage. Moreover, another problem is that he is usually overlooked for Lan, who is much better. Hence, I'd say that very few cavalry generals are better than him and he usually completes his job.

PoinatowskiType of General : Land hybrid
Price : 6 Emblems
Hybrids aren't usually worth their price, and same goes to Poinatowski. Though he is a very good hybrid, his skills and stars are spread apart too far. 3 stars in infantry and cavalry are great to start off and he has 2 in artillery too. His 3 training stars are again, good though, but his movement his bad and it will require you an upward of 1500 medals to bring his movement stars to 5 or >1000 for even 4. They can be invested elsewhere, like to Sophia.
Coming to his skills, he doesn't have any output skills so his damage is not good. Assault art is not reliable. Geography is great if you put him on cavalry and artillery and terrain doesn't affect him. Leadership too, is another great skill. Fireproof is bad on land, but good in ships, but the problem is, he doesn't have any naval stars. Overall, he is not a good buy and he can be replaced by Sakurako.

WashingtonType of General : Land Hybrid
Price : 8 Emblems
It's sort of hard to rate Washington. He really don't deserve a "Must have", but he isn't bad as a very good either. Just look at this guy. If you have 150/10 rank and nobility, 5 star infantry, then he could be a messiah or a demon, depending upon which side he is. He is designed to defend cities, which is why there is a doubt on whether he is a must have. But there are quite a few levels where you have to defend vigorously, like the "Retreat of Empire" in the French Eagle. Let's take that level as an example.
Once the fire around Moscow has been drowsed, spam a triple stacked line infantry. His 150 health, along with the regen of Moscow and 10 of his own takes a long siege by the enemy to bring him down. He also has 5 training stars, you can also trade whichever resources you want with his 5 star business. His stay isn't empty though, he has economic master, which increases the resources. He has Mass Fire makes him even more tough, without med-kit. Even if the enemy surrounds, there is no use as he has Leadership. Banner increases the stats of the soldiers surrounding him, making his Army group and their city invincible. A great buy!

He is a good starting general, if you can spend 5$. But only as starter, Later on he becomes quite lousy. No evasion skills - for Cavalary and Artillery a real pain. Geography is fantastic as long that you don't have the war horse. For a maxed general, it works only on light cavalary and light artillery - Bad for a top genneral, apart that you need the second saddle and a second artillery. Yes, I had thought about it. Not exactly, but through the viewpoint of princess. They are the strongest ones available, but there aren't many IAPs matching his potenial. Not having evasions skill hurts. I will add this point. You wrote in your skill analysis to Assult Art, 20% chance. I recorded a longer grind with my Lan an we were at 2%-3%. This can be buggy, but with my Lan, I never could SL an AssultArt - I always gave up before. In the conquest Lannes seems to be much more lucky (5% ?) - but with low health on cavalary it is so sad to see an AA with 20DMG. Assult Art is nice, because it gives the max-dmg of the unit - Without AA, more than 90% of the possible dammage are really rare. I took it based on Erich von Manstein 's skill guide in the Output formula and skill analysis. There are some differences between Paulus's and Manstein's skill briefing. Maybe we need to sort that one out.Coming to Assault art (and also Defense art), they are always the icing on the cake as they can't be reliable. Also Trotsky, these are the analysis which aren't based on cost. If cost is included, it would change a lot of things. There would be people wiling to spend money.I know, since the beginning of this board 20% AA appear. And I was so dissappointed when I finally got Lan. Do you think 20% is realistic ? A useless for strategy but really nice to have skill And you can learn how much is really the max. I just could test it with Lan and in continous fights the rate was very much lower. Maybe there is even a timer inflicted? Davout is fantastic / when you get him, in the campaign. On a long run he costs to develop and for artillery and especially cavalary, accurate and strike are indispensable. Terrain evasion (5% - 20%) in โ
of all hext, cities and fortifications + hidden evasion... - in America he is astunnishing weak. He is great in the beginnig - his role in the storyline - most generals are only skilled for their appearance in the campaign. I saw the costs like a key creteria, for 5๐๏ธ istead of 5๐ธ I take directly Davout and fly through IE. I agree!

One of the most overrated generals in the game. What unit does he even go on? He requires trainers and items and even then his damage Will be weak. A definite no buy.

War Expert/Master is +40%/80%, and you put Economic Master twice.

War Expert/Master is +40%/80%, and you put Economic Master twice. The skill part needs corrections John Marston, have a look at the Skill reference. And: Siege Master is not equal the evasion skills for cities. You should add that MassFire works only with Infantry.

RadetzkyType of General : Cavalry Price : 8 Emblems He is Dombrowski 2.0, with quite a few changes. He has an extra training training and business stars, 2 on fort and 1 on navy compared to none of Dombrowski. However, War Master isn't really desirable and Banner is far better if you are willing to grind medals. Anyways, this guy isn't bad for an IAP. Just as Dombrowski, he can move fast, strong and conquer cities on his own. A great buy. (He looks more Polish than Austrian for me)

SuvorovType of General : Infantry Price : 6 Emblems The famed and reputed Suvorov is a very good general. He has all most of his skills as infantry skills. 5 stars in infantry right off the blocks. 5 stars in training, means he can take quite a few blows. He is of immense use in the campaigns, ripping everyone into shreds with his consistently moderate-high damage. However, his movement is really bad. Just 1 star. It takes 1620 medals to increase it to 4 or 1080 to even a moderate three. His lack of movement is his biggest drawback and he won't be of much use in speedrunning.

MuratType of General : Cavalry
Price : 6 Emblems
Murat is a good general. He has 5 stars cavalry again, along with Surprise, with Assault Art and Spy supplementing him. The problem with him is that he doesn't have Strike. Along with that, War Expert isn't desirable. He does has good movement, but he weakens quickly as he has only 2 training stars. This makes him replaceable with Dombrowski/Radetzky.

MassenaType of General : Cavalry/Infantry hybrid Price : 8 Emblems Nope. I won't prefer Massena. Why? Because of his skills. Sure, he has 4 star cavalry and infantry. But look at his skills - Infantry Tactics doesn't work. War Master is not desirable. Sure, he has surprise, but he still lacks strike. Leadership, his stars and survivability saves his face and has given him something to show. But Duke of Rivoli has been really sized down in this game.

WellesleyType of General : Infantry centered hybrid Wellesley is another good general, however, the main problem with him, as we saw with Murat is that there are better replacements. Why would a combat general need Economic master? He would stay in the cities only for healing. Banner is really expensive. Bugle and Leadership are great skills. But, he has only 2 movement stars, which is very poor.

War master is a good skill. Building rank is important as it helps survivability and combat (higher damage at full morale, not having to use a snare. It's replaceable by an item, but only in theory. I don't think anyone is using the rank/ nobility items in game play, but only for training specific scenarios. Having an automatic rank bonus skill is valuable because you can use 2 combat items. Nobility item is easier to toggle use because you can toggle on to it during your movement.

I disagree, he is constantly dying in campaigns and conquests. He dies to polish artillery in 1798, and dies in battle of Trebbia
