Hi All, I am pretty new to this game and I have been playing WC3 for nearly 3 months. At present I am in HQ Level 29 with Weichs, Meyer & Isakov which is purchased using medals. I have my three free generals 1) Cmdr.German [Inf-2, Pan-2, Mov-2, rest all-1... Panzer Leader-1,Tide of Iron-1, Economic Expert-1, Health-50] 2) Cmdr.Japan [Air-3, Navy-3, rest all-1... Wolfpack-1,Fleet Leader-1, Health-65] 3) Cmdr.Soviet [Art-3, rest all-1, Health-35]
I have also conquered 1939 with USSR and Spain, 1943 with Germany, and 1950 with USSR.
I have few wonders and at present WTO-3 and NATO-3 are open for me.
I feel struck at this stage and I am not able to get industry, energy, technology to upgrade my Inf,Art,or Panzer or anything else. They are in Lvl 3 or 4 and requires more industry, energy, etc which I am not able to get. I also tried, hold the ground, wipe out the enemy, accumulate supplies, etc, but all in level 4 or 5 and not able to win anything with the present generals. Neither I have medals to upgrade my generals nor buy new.
I really feel struck at this stage not able to get medals nor anything else like industry, energy, technology.
Can anyone help me in this regard? Thanks

Sell the eye-covered to get the medals in refund, sell weichs and get Badoglio from the Italian academy, sell isakov too if needed and get Ozawa for his place from the Japanese academy, Meyer is good for now.

Only build necessary wonders (Gold, Steel, Medal). Do missions. Air ability Lv.5. Save up for Guderian, when you're at 3100 mark, sell Meyer. If you're desperately looking for medals, sell your eye covered dudes (don't just sell them. use them until you are close to Guderian). It costs 16k to make perfect one! You get new ones for free. Next general, probably Govorov. You may want Greim too. Quick XP + Rss tips: 1939: 1* Norway/Bulgaria 2* India/Romania 3* /Germany 1943: 1* Egypt/ 2* India/Romania 3* UK/Japan 1950: 1* Greece/Bulgaria 2* /Iran 3* USA/ 1960: 1* Saudi/Iran 2* / 3* USA/

And if you're in a hurry for a tank general get Vatutin, costs ~1300 in the Russian academy

And if you need resources such as industry or energy try playing conquests with small nation.

And if you need resources such as industry or energy try playing conquests with small nation. If it's too difficult, try a larger country but be sure to pick the "correct side" for a conquest. Or the easier side, really. A large country on the technically "wrong" side is actually harder than a little country on the "right" side. 1939 - Axis 1943 - Allied

They're the Axis of the cold war. They have deadly generals and a chance to invade some cities before being pushed back by NATO. Just don't play as USSR, since you don't have THAT much/great (yet) generals to imitate the USSR AI.

USSR gens. are good for a skilled person and they carried my force all the way to the shores of America before getting nuked. Also if you are good you can use no generals in conquest from 1939 to 1950 2 star country.

It is possible to even break through 1975 1 star countries without generals if you have good skills and high tech.

For tech, upgrade air force to lvl 6, missile to 3, nuke to 2 first. 3. For wonders, building Pyramids, Kuzco, and Terracotta are the most important three, then Hanging Garden, Himeji Castle, Forbidden Palace, Kremlin, Alhambra, Winter Place, Potala Palace, Petra, Sea City.

This has always intrigued me:/ AI action during Cold War conquest: First stage: Soviet Union will crazy spam generals and push forward. Middle East&Africa will fall to WTO. PRC crazy nuke and kill the countries around(South Korea, Japan, etc.). Middle: If you are NATO: Europe falls, start to march on North America. If you are WTO: US support is coming, UK, US and France destroy Soviet Union, US, Australia destroy PRC.
