No swearing moderator! C'mon cheer up! >P.S. we are in the random area. And quote me next time please so I can respond quicker. The quote button is on the right hand side if you're using the mobile version. Lol everybody knows where the quote button is, he's been here for a year. He must have forgot that cusing was against the forum rules, so guessing that he forgot where the quote button was isn't that much of a reach.

Actually undefeated are Lannes (me) SuvorovD'avout Alexander the Great Suvorov was defeated by Massena in Zurich No, Suvorov defeated the French at Novi and Trebbia. Korsakov was in Zurich waiting for Suvorov so they could invade France. Masséna rightfully timed his attacked and took at Korsakov and was approaching Suvorov with 80,000 men against Suvorov's 18,000. Suvorov decided to move out of Switzerland leading to his suspension and Russia leaving the 2nd Coalition.

To my recollection, Korsakov's gaffe caused Suvorov to attack alone, leading to a defeat Suvorov didn't loose a single battle of the 60 he fought. He was a brilliant leader but in a direct 1v1 against Napoléon he would be crushed.

Suvorov mostly fought Ottomans who had pretty bad leaders and had very low morale+internal problems. Fighting against Poland, Suvorov fought rebels, not an actual nation and his troops looted a lot of Poland. When fighting the French, Suvorov's losses were only very few less than the French because he fought troops with high morale and competent leaders (Joubert and Moreau). MacDonald and Grouchy did completely fail against Suvorov though mostly because of their tactics
