Well PuP's are not viruses but it's a way for some antivirus engines to flag files that are suspicious. I am not a programmer capable of decompiling and reverse engineer these apk's so if we cant be reasonably confident of the safety of these files they will be gone.

TBH, I don't get the fuss, all of these seem pretty fine to me. I have all the mods on my phone, and its A-Okay. But I suppose it does make sense that your trying to keep things best and tidy in the board. You get a gold star! |

The modification board has been closed to everyone but the staff untill a few of the files there are investigated as they are triggering alerts. Yes some are PuP (potentially unwanted programs) which might be false alarms still this needs to be looked at. If it helps any, my antimalware detects the mods as malicous software, however no harmful effects have befallen my device. They come in the category PuP for me as well. I run these files thru google multi engine AV, it scans the files thru all of the major antivirus softwares (like 55 of them.) |

As I said in chat most of av progs shows pups on most modded content because they doesn't contain original signature |
