Dutch and Danish are a German dialect anyway Wrong German (and English, French, Spanish, Italian and Greek) are a dialect of Latin. And Danish +Scandinavians and Estonian are Finn-ugres. German is Germanic. So is English. The only Latin Languages are Italian, Spanish, French, and Romanian.

And most of latinic languages has a major influence of Baltic language tree, the best example is that Heracles went to Eridan for new knowledge and Eridan is known as Baltic.

And before Latins and Germanics came Balts lived most of Europe except far north where lived Finnugres and Greece where lived Latins

And lets face it, Holy Rome was garbage, and didn't actually have half the territory they claimed.

I feel like the Original topic of this thread has become relevant again with Trump jokes all over the place. Talking politics in PM can be good fun, but not in threads.

1. I'm not going to be a moderator as we already have 4 2. They would get reprimanded. Also wanted to dredge this up now that Batten is a moderator

Roman empire made half of known world speak Latin. Yes and as I said before, Germania was not posessed by Rome. Therefore, they spoke Germanic languages. Its a completely different language group than Latin.

Both of them are mixed subgroups of language trees Note that Proto Germanic is before Latin Therefore, they are indirectly related cousin languages, meaning German is not a latin language and has no relation to it.
