All 11 of my generals are maxed out marquess ready to upgrade, except for Grant and Jackson, who are dukes ready to upgrade. I have enough silver medals to either upgrade Jackson to prince or Beseler and Moltke to duke. Which way do I go?
Also, I've got enough textbooks to make a couple skill changes. All of my generals are unchanged from their original settings. Thinking I need to spend those on Jackson, as he's my go to guy, but Station and Riding Master I feel can be changed. Or do I spend it on Moltke and change MF and Counterstrike. He's integral support for me.
I know y'all told me to sell Beauregard, Mead and Sherman, But I need a second Artillery sometimes, Sherman seems to be more effective than Sheridan, and Beauregard's DF and Sailor are actually coming in handy now that I've started the Ottoman campaign.
Any opinions are welcome

Upgrade Jackson to prince so he can have level 5 skills. Swap Station and Riding Master with Precision Strike and Surprise. Precision Strike and Surprise are must have skills for cav gen.
There is no point to upgrade gen to Duke. The gain in ability is minimal. The same goes with king and emperor. Upgrade all top gen to prince before upgrading any to king or emperor.
IMO, mobility is very important. All my top gen (cav, inf and art) have both JF and MF. The only exception is the designated driver for tank/armored car who does not have MF (tank/armored car can not cross tall mountains even with MF). A gen that is stuck at the back is even more useless than a militia. I still remember Hindenburg stuck at the Italian Alps. He didn't contribute in the conquest after that with the rest of the team miles ahead.
Do not replace MF of Moltke. I kept him as marquess and did not swap out Counterattack with JF until I upgraded all other top gens. Once you got Plumer and Stepanovic/Sidney Johnston, you won't be deploying Moltke in campaigns any more. He's needed in AP & FP war (history) and challenge conquest though.
Don't spend anything on Grant. Some people called him Useless Grant. I dismissed him (actually the entire US team) after completing the 2 historical campaigns.
Since you have not upgraded much with your gens, I suspect that you are not getting 5 special items (silver/gold medal, book) from ads everyday. Just save to cloud before watching ad. If you didn't get what you want, restore from cloud and repeat after 20 mins.

Any opinions are welcome Sell Grant, Duke is actually pretty OK, as you get tons of gold from missions, and that boost and defense buff can serve you well. Sherman? Sell him. Get the glorious McClellan if you need medals that badly. But myself, I upgraded Moltke the Elder. He is cheap, fast once CounterA is swapped for JF, and he will carry you to McClellan or Johnston, or even Plumer. Second Arty? Meet Ivanov. One of the best outputs in the game, and mildly fast too. Just sell Beuregard he sucks and just get MacArthur. Literally saved me at least 10 times at your level. If you value defense and wanna spend medals on inf, meet MacMahon. Historical, and a beast. The Grant back but dont touch him unless you want to use him (why would you want to do that). Sailor is trash, never put you land units to sea unless absolutely needed and with naval support. |

Trying to put Sheridan to work, but man, if Pierce doesn't hit he's not very helpful, seems to me.
At least Sherman's got Tactics, which comes in handy trying to take keypoints

Sell sherman so you can probably buy Ivanov if u really need a second art or Straussenberg if you haven't yet buy him. |

The button circled in green is the save to cloud button. Touch it and you will be prompted to save to cloud. Make sure you save to cloud every time before watching any ad.
The button circled in red is the ad button. Touch it and a window with rewards will be shown. If the special item (silver/gold medal, book, medical supplies) is not what you want, then cancel it and repeat until the special item you want shows up. Then watch the ad. You'll be randomly rewarded with either gold, medals or special item. (This is the way F2P players contribute to Easytech.)
If you didn't get what you want, go to the main menu and touch the Cloud button (circled in red).
The Cloud Storage window will appear, touch the load from cloud button (circled in red) to load from cloud.
 You'll have to wait 20 mins before being able to load from cloud again so watch ad again after 20 mins. In the meantime, you can farm gold with previous campaigns or attempt new campaigns.
If you haven't attempted any conquest, you should start doing it now. As shown in the photo below, you'll get plenty of rewards from Achievement. 1861 is certainly doable for you and there are guides for them in the Library.
Get MacArthur as he costs only gold. He can be your main inf general for quite some time. You'll need him in historical Cuban war anyway. I regard him as the best value for money gen.

Panzer, If I sell Sherman, do I get 80% of those medals back?
Luffy, I don't have the play icon or the cloud icon on the campaign screen.
As a matter of fact, I don't have the play icon on any screen.
I don't have the cart icon on the home screen.
I've never seen that many missions on the campaign screen at one time.
Am I playing an out of date version?
As far as the conquests go, I'm down to the last achievement for 1861. Just got to win Spanish Empire.
Thanks for taking the time to put that together.
Upgraded Jackson to Prince and swapped Station for Precision. We'll see how that goes.
Almost done upgrading tech available with opening chapter IV campaign.
It's obvious need some better generals.
Plan is, if I get medals back for Sherman, get Plumer, as I think I'll have enough medals. Got about 400 right now.
Sell Beauregard and Meade, replace them with MacArthur and Vazov for coins, until I get enough medals to go shopping again.
Thoughts?

I don't believe you have Straussenburg yet so get him, if you do, MacMahon, and try some conquests. |
