Sometimes I wonder why AI-controlled general switch their target to harder enemy for them, especially Cavalry general, they prefer to hit archer and get some damage on retaliation rather than hitting infantry next to them and therefore activating mobility ability.
Maybe every generals is programmed to attack troops with lowest def stats in their range?

I don't know exactly, and it's not 100% accurate, but I find as a general rule of thumb it's best to assume that your AI will make the worst decisions and the enemy's will make better ones
