I think Murat is the best non IAP cavalry general. Who is the second best cavalry general? Is it Davout, Dabrowski, Ney, Lan or others?
Currently I have Murat and Karl added to my line-up. Also, I am in the middle of British Empire campaign.
I need general for long term or end-game. Medals is not a problem, since now it's easy to grind. I have 2130 medals right now, just enough to buy Davout. But, should do I?

If you did unlock Lan, I want to know how, and with what strategy. |

Dabrowski has pretty good skills as he has cavalry commander and defense art which makes him very good. 3. Davout has extremely good stats and once you max him out, he is very good and can eat up troops. He can go up to King and has a high battle ability meaning he is useful in naval battles as well Its basically down to if you want a pure cavalry general who has very effective skills, especially once you max it out, i.e Dabrowski, or is you was a versatile Cavalry General who will have amazing stats in the end, but his skills aren't as great as Dabrowski, i.e. Davout |

Very good but I prefer Dabrowski. If you are looking for a Tactics Master then Paget is probably the best choice. |

The only issue was that Wellington did not really need help so all his officers did not really have the opportunities to make a name for themselves. |

In any case, Paget has Surprise (OP) instead of Station and Riding Master, along with better stats. I choose Paget, especially considering he is like 700 medals less. The only two gens better than him are Radetsky and Murat. |

Lan is also better, and Radetsky is trash. |
