There are several important facts you have to keep in mind: 1. The game is still evolving. So, some tips and recommendations you may find here and there are obsolete or, at least, obsolescent. One example. A year or so ago it was enough to have 8-person team to complete the game. Now it is not. We have several new modes of the game when up to 16 generals are needed. 2. There are many good generals. But there's also a space left behind, as they say in chess. Cavalry might be very efficient in some circumstances but then you'll face a couple of deadly archers and you are stuck. So, maybe a balanced team is more viable today than anything else. You have to support and to defend your main damage dealers to be successful. In general, EW5 is a more difficult game than GCR or GoG3. So, it is a good challenge. There are already many challenging battles: Asgard, Temple, last 10 battles in Empire mode. And it well may be that new hard mode campaigns will be even more difficult. Only a handful of players completed the previous content so far. And literally no-one has beaten the game as it is now. So, welcome to the club 1. If I need 16 generals, I think I can get a strong core for every type which is good. 2. If 16 generals are needed, I think a balanced team will be required because there aren't 16 good generals of any type. For now, I will continue investing in attila while thinking about my options. 3. No one has beaten the game? Well then, I will try to be among the first . The hard mode campaigns are definitely difficult and I am thinking about if you will need lots of rumor generals to confuse the legendary beasts. For now though, I will just keep beating missions with just attila and think about who to get next. Finally, how many medals per day can you get from farming? I want to build a really strong team, but I don't want to farm for a decade to get those generals. No-one has beaten the game because they haven't released all hard mode campaigns yet but if Medieval hard mode campaigns are quite challenging already, - we can only speculate about further campaigns. Fortunately enough they make our life easier too, because there many ways to get medals nowadays. 1. So, your first goal is to conquer as many cities as possible as soon as possible. 2. Your second goal is to create a team able to beat bosses in Mythology mode on auto. These two sources will give you the lion's share of your income of medals.

The amount of medals you get a day is directly correlated by how many cities you have in Empire mode. Are you liking the game? I am liking the game. In fact, I am playing more of EW5 than GoG3 right now. So, do you get 1 mission/invasion a day for every city you have? I wish we had No, the number of missions will be increased gradually until you get 10 missions with 20 medals. It is possible to refresh missions twice a day, but precise timing is needed. You have to wait precisely 12 hours and a couple of minutes before refreshing them. Otherwise your waiting time can be prolonged for an hour. So, if you have refreshed your daily missions at 12 AM - next time it should be at 12.01 PM. Almost all of us make notes

Almost all of us make notes I set my timer for 12 hours after starting one blue mission and most of the time it is good enough, however if it isn't then on the next one I'll set it for 12:01. Sometimes, if I have done it too soon and I close the game down altogether it will refresh after 30 minutes rather than an hour.

That sinking feeling when you check in and... nothing 30 minutes before refresh seems to be the cut off as well, so you need to log out before then, or at least disconnect from the internet.

Shoot, I just do my morning ones at 0630 and then hit my evening ones at 2000.
