Hi, I am a newbie. Been playing the game for almost 1 week. As I browse through the forum I rarely see anyone mention Lincoln as a Main Gen. But I saw that he has a very useful Logistic passive. Im looking to replace Alex since i want to progress more in conquest and apparently Logistic is very useful. Can Lincoln be Richard replacement? I'm currently building an Arch.com with Archer : Oda, Catherine, Mocte, Mulan. Inv : Barbarossa & Alex. Cav : Saladin. Art: Cleo. I'm currently only have 1000 medal (poor me). Ive been grinding Greece everyday and im super bored with it. Please share your expert advice.

Logistics is really a very good skill. But it has one serious deficiency. Namely, you have to kill someone to make use of it  And to kill someone you have to be powerful enough. Otherwise you will be killed before you can kill. So, the problem with Linkoln is that he is not powerful enough to kill enemies on his right and left. It doesn't mean he's useless, on the contrary, he has some potential to be a decent backup general. But quite likely he will loose in battles more HP than he will gain through Logistics. |

Ahhhhh.... So do you think I should buy Richard or just keep using Alex? I say keep alexander if u lack in medals because petain is cheaper and better than richard. You get him very late but alexander can help u get there. Rest are ur wishes but i think petain is one of top three Infantry. |

Ahhhhh.... So do you think I should buy Richard or just keep using Alex? Try not to think about names. It won't help you much. Use a sport team as an analogy. Every player has his own role but all of them work together, and that makes a team successful. If you want to buy Richard or to upgrade your Alexander you already make a serious decision. Neither Richard, nor Alexander can crush enemies late in the game without help of generals who have Infantry Commander skill. There are several good Infantry generals with these skill - Barbarossa, Peter, Petain. So, you definitely have to buy (or to upgrade) one of them too. Otherwise your purchase of Richard will be rather pointless. |

Thanks a lot guys stoic, mayankshadow, Voltaire, well I try to make the best of my 2 option of Inv Gen in my team. My Dream team will consist of 2 Inv Gen (Barbarossa + Petain / Richard), 1 Cav Gen (Saladin), 6 Arc Gen(Oda, Nelson, Mocte, 2more (I hevent decided yet)), 1 Art Gen (Li Shimin / Bismark) For my current team I use Inv : Barbarossa + Alex Arc : Oda, Mocte, Catherine, Jhansi Cav : Saladin Art : Cleo + Khalid I somehow manage to get 2200 medals for now but in a day or 2 i will be able to enter Gunpowder Age I've been grinding Greece every day since its the most time efficient for me (18 Turns or +-30 minutes time play) I can also do India in Discovery but it took much more time and effort. So for me Greece is the most effective for literature. Btw how much Medals do you guys get in 1 day anyway? I,m only getting around 250-300 / day |

First you have to unlock 155 cities in Empire. Then you will receive 10 missions twice a day (20 medals each). That means 400 medals per day. Then you have to beat 3 bosses twice a day in Mythology mode. That means 120 (and higher) medals per day depending on the battle. Two princesses will give you 50 medals per day. Plus you have a chance to get medals by watching ads. |

Still a long way to go i think. I just enter gunpowder age and shock by the amount of medal that I'm lacking. To upgrade a purple Gen i need 1200 Medals..... it looks like it will be weeks before I can do something much. Another Grinding medals periods. Thanks a lot for all the advice. |
