Arthur Percival Movement- 5 star Skills- Desperate Rumour Inspiration Price- 565 Medals Three skills? He's hardly known beyond Malaysia and Singapore for the most part so he's lacking in terms of popularity compared to the other 3-4* gens, the majority of the gens who possess 3 skills. His most significant assignments would have to be the failed reorganisation of the defences of the Straits Settlements and their failed defence. Archibald Wavell was Percival's superior in terms of Wavell being the de jure theatre commander while Percival was bound to Malaya and Singapore as well as final military rank. Wavell held commands in active campaigns in the Middle East and South East Asia, but he is a mere 1* gen. He led successful campaigns against the Italians, but it is plausible that infamous Italian weaknesses did contribute to this success. If Percival is to be added, he would be a worse 1* gen than Wavell. His rival, Yamashita, was relatively popular among the IJA and more popular in general. Yamashita might have been given too much credit because Percival and the other generals' failures did hinder the Allied war effort in Malaya and Singapore. This enabled Yamashita and his generals' to rapidly defeat of the Allies. However, Yamashita did win in the end, unlike Percival, and his preparations for the Malayan Campaign were testament to his ability to lead an army. Plus, Yamashita had also commanded troops in the Philippines when MacArthur was liberating it and supposedly led troops in active campaigns China before his famed Malayan Campaign.
If the 5* in movement is a joke, it's a good one. Unironically rivalled by Yamashita's advances in the Malayan Campaign.

Belov (opens after the Battle of Moscow) 3 inf stars 2 tank stars 3 movement stars Skills: Golden Plunder Supply Golden Sniper (imitates a cavalry charge against infantrymen) Silver Jungle Fighting (Soviet cavalry was often used in dense forests, where it had some cover from enemy aviation) Note: P. Belov was the most successful Soviet cavalry general (commanded the 2nd Cavalry Corps, which was promoted to the 1st Guards Cavalry Corps during the Battle of Moscow). I tried to give him skills and stars which would be helpful for cavalry so he would become a specialised cavalryman, just as Student is an obvious paratrooper. I also gave him 2 tank stars because he often commanded a mixed cavalry-armor group.
Freyberg (opens after the Battle of Crete) 2 inf stars 1 artillery star 1 movement star Skills: Silver Guerilla Silver Crowd tactics Note: New Zealanders do deserve a gen in an ET game, don’t they? Maybe someone can invent a NZ special force?

some more generals to be added include lucian Truscott, O'Connor, and Dempsey If they included the Battle Of The Falaise Gap, then yes, Dempsey would be good. For O'Connor, it is VITAL that they add him, because no one should dare claim ownership over the victory of Operation Compass besides him.
