This is one of the easier games to switch lineups in as you progress. No need to restart at this point.
To take advantage of Washington and Genghis, a cav-arch com may work for you or either of the two. This enables a rapid blitzkrieg play style to be used.
Jhansi can be used as a temporary archcom gen until Li Hongzhang arrives while Suriyothai can do the same for cavcom until Atilla is bought.
If you prefer a slow, but steady way of playing, you already have a basic infcom setup consisting of Caesar, Richard, Babarossa and possibly Alexander. Petain can be bought to provide another aura and boost their attack, especially since you may want to take advantage of Richard's Logistics and Caesar's Cure Master.
However, I suggest using arch or cav com as a supporting element if you want to use an infcom lineup.
Bismarck will provide the additional arty firepower needed later in the game.
Lincoln is a meh gen who can be used in Legion Mode in Arena and Greek Trial III.
As for equipment distribution, there is a thread on it to discuss preferred distributions. Only the Odin set should be kept as a full set on a single gen.

To restart the game will be a mistake. Most likely you already get significant amount of medals twice a day. It will take a long time to reach this point after restarting. And you have a nice team. You need an adjustment, not a revolution.

If I were you, I would do a couple of things as soon as possible:
1. I would fully upgrade Suri's Commander skill.
2. I would collect literature, advance to Industrial age, promote your best generals and buy Li Hongzhang and upgrade his Commander skill and Leadership.
Believe me it will be a great move to improve your team

stoic and Nobunaga Oda , I make around 200 medals a day (not including grinding in legend mode and ads) so with patience I can edit the team. I'm thinking maybe more archer heavy (getting Nelson and Li Hong), but I still have the thought in the back of my head that I have used so many medals on generals that might not be used in the final lineup and that's the one thing that's stopping me from switching up my team drastically. I'm thinking the final team might look like... Genghis Washington Nobunaga Li Shimin/Bismarck Nelson Li Hong Ceaser (though it could be debated Genghis replaces Ceaser already with Bottle of Life so there could be room for a change) Richard Thoughts? And thanks for all the feedback!
I'm already in the Industrial Age btw. Probably should have made that more apparent.

I'm already in the Industrial Age btw. Probably should have made that more apparent. It is an outdated point of view that we only need 8 generals. Most likely we need 16 to be successful in all modes of the game. You haven't done anything wrong yet. With a single twist you can transform your team into Arch comp team (Li Hongzhang, Nelson), Inf comp team (Peter, Petain) or Cav comp team (Attila). It is a great opportunity to have. None of these ways is closed yet. But you definitely should earn more medals per day. With your current team you can easily conquer 155 cities and autofarm GT1. So, it is your most important goal - to get more medals on a regular basis. |

Conquering 155 cities in Empire mode will give you 10 missions (20 medals each after reaching lvl 70) twice a day.

Solving that is easier. By ur lineup i can see it is almost like mine.
Just be patient upgrade best abilities
Draw a path in ur mind like which gen to spend medals before others. For example upgrade suri to max before others.then go for wash and like this max all. Proceed slowly. If u play a lot and cannot bear the pain it gives to not proceed even after hours. I suggest find a side activity (like i play brawl stars and watch naruto). This way u wont get to know when u got upgraded so fast.
And as i said before tell us ur difficulty we will take u out of that.restart is no solution.look at me i had every gen most of them max and i restart. Now whenever i try to relogin in that id it shows a level 1 id. What can i do? Nothing! So never ever just restart

Wht is ur age and does it suits you
Like i never thought to spend anyways
And if u r so lineant to spend real money then simply buy more medals and upgrade.if u feel like u already spent a lot then wait and be patient
This is a kind of game that takes half and only half year to be good at.

mayankshadow, Yeah I did, a guilty pleasure I suppose. If I'm being honest, I'm just using birthday money from family. The industrial campaigns are what I'm stuck on. As of right now, it's the second mission of the first campaign. I was lucky to get 3 star for the first one. Conquests were always a piece of cake imo so I can always grind resources there. Don't worry, I won't restart this time  I've already sold too much of my soul in this run to do it

I suggest upgrade ur army and forget it until all ur gens are atleast gunpowder and have good abilities.
Try 1 star first
Later return to it and 3 star.
