Went to my school library, and they actually have some really good books on world War 2. They're not super in depth, but they quote other, more in depth books, and primary sources, which is good for the research paper I've decided to make.

we should name Lucklife the Rolling-Around person I agree. Also, is the Reply button stolen from us? I can't see it.

Our school library has virtually nothing. That's why I mainly use articles, books and book chapters from the internet instead of physical ones. But our school also doesn't provide access to many of the non free internet sources, so I have to read what I can with my free account.

Dang, at least you have one. There isn't a library within forty miles of where I live, because our school is too poor to afford one. When we do go to a library, it has to be at the Army base.

You guys are talking about libraries? They are pretty much non existence in my place. TBH, I don't know even a single library which isn't a school library.
And school libraries are really crap because most of the books are related to the syllabus and those which are not are usually story books or magazines. Our college has 2 cupboards of books placed on the corridor which they call it as a "Library".

Yikes, that must suck. I seem to have been lucky with the school I went to, because by browsing the online catalog I'm pretty sure we have the most WWII books in the district.

whoah, I just realized... @vonmanstein77 , you still here mate? I've been logging in as a guest for a while. I restarted GOG3 so I've been making use of your library.

Yeah I've been really busy the last few months with school and work and what not. Plus, I lost interest in the games for a while as I mentioned in my farewell post way back. But I figured I'd restart GOG3 cause why not. And then I remembered how much I missed this place, so... here I am.

Library at an army base? Sounds cool lol. But actually, that must be frustrating. I live in the biggest city in the country so there's no lack of libraries. I have a non-school library under a kilometer from where I live. It's just that there's no in depth books about history, philosophy or any other subject I'm interested in. The public libraries do occasionally have a few moderately in depth history books, but those are always about the Winter or Continuation War - imagine your library having only books about the American Civil War for example. Then if there is a book about an international topic, it's just surface scratching popularised history which also probably includes some misinformation. The school libraries don't have those kind of books of course, but just like with John Marston's case there are hardly any books at all. Last time I was there, the only history related book I could find was a biography of Karl Marx. Other than that the library system is awesome, there's just nothing for people interested in history, philosophy etc. The school libraries however are very disappointing, the books can't be used as sources for research or assignments.

Eh, my library is like that except with standard classic literature. There is no Ivanhoe, not Brothers Karamazov, not even Ben-Hur.
