At first it seems so, but I already unlocked Beowulf without doing anything extraordinary in arena. Just by doing regular stuff, you know, picking up easy fights whenever possible. And I reinstalled the game a month or so ago. Definitely you will climb up more quickly with IAPs. Is it just me or do I feel a sense of,not hatred but a sense of, like, "oh he bought IAP" I have no idea why do you feel like this There is nothing wrong in purchasing powerful generals, moreover you support EA by doing this. The majority of players make in-game purchases.

The majority of players make in-game purchases. Fact remains. The best never bought them. However anyone who buys it become competitive to best.

In a sense, all of us F2P players are piggy-backing off the hard earned dollars of IAP players, since I'm sure EasyTech could not live on Ad revenue alone. And since there is no PvP to make f2p players suffer, I don't see any serious negatives. Perhaps the game can be harder for f2p, but it's balanced enough that I've still been making steady progress.

I'm a collector than a strategist 🤣. But even pay, it's not easy to get the team I have, it's not only about paying.

I bought an IAP only once, which was WC4 Manstein. It was helpful but I wouldn't do it again

I would like to make it very clear here that the only purchases I have ever made in this game were for slots, not for generals. A slot is far more valuable for the money spent, as it gives you massively increased flexibility in assembling and retaining a selection of commanders. I was pleased to contribute something to the game which has given me many hours of pleasure. However, I have not been impressed with the level of eagerness (or lack thereof) of Easytech customer support to restore these slots for me when I suffered an uncommanded wipe on my Android tablet. I assembled what I thought was extensive proof of purchase and they regarded this as insufficient. Unless you are absolutely convinced of the stability of your platform, I would advocate against it. 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘴𝘬𝘺, has a mod with all the slots opened if you want to go down that road, but I no longer feel comfortable spending money on the game when I know it has this fatal flaw, and does not have the ability for a save file to be preserved by the user for restoration if the game instance or the device should fail.

Yes, I browse EW4, I know all this due to my 4D chess skills.
