It had certain territories, such as this: Oh no, this map already hurts my eyes lol. (Ps: there is a guy in discord named Gerdt von Rundstedt who joined Ivan's server, was that you?)

Yes, I saw it in Preregistration. Remember, this will not be hex-based. BTW I think the Celtic/Viking/Britain one will be SO much fun. I loved amphibious assaults in GCR and WC2, and Continent to Britain travel looks amazing. if it wasn't hex based, then what was it? Sorry, but I see the hex grid on the new screenshots, why not hex-based Gerd von Rundstedt ? A region system like in the older games (is the screenshot not from EW3 ?) is really interresting, I like to group different units in one zone together for combined attack and defense. It was very much like a classic, physical board game, unelectric with cards and dice.

There are no hex-based pics in new screenshots. If you look closely You can see the outline of the regions. And there will be a maximum of one unit in three parts per territory. If you want to find out more, there is the blurbs here. preg.ieasytech.com/ma/And that game was my first Easytech game, World Conqueror 2. I got it because it was like my favorite board game at the time, Axis and Allies.

Nice that i'm wrong, I just saw on this screenshot the region borders and that there following a hex grid, so my missinterpretation. PS. Incredible how similar look WC2 and EW3

Honestly I feel like it's going to be like a combination between WC2 and EW5. From the region outline we can come to the conclusion that the conquest isn't grid based, but instead made out of many many many smaller regions each with one units on it, just like how WC2 works.
