Animated flags are stored in strategicmap_hd.png and buildings_hd.png Each wave of the flag in the game is represented by four versions of a flag wave in the PNG files. ibb.co/wNJx3Ccibb.co/y5TWh0pibb.co/YN7VHd7ibb.co/gjC7YJwI used the flag of morocco since its plain red, so it is easy to edit.Β Say, if you want to replace the animated flag of vanilla ew4 russia with an edited custom flag of yours that you made from the template (edited morccan flag), then just place each edited flag over each respective flag wave of russian in strategicmap_hd and buildings_hd. Let me add two hints for your mod. Removing the tactical maps background for conquests you can use this tacticalmap_hd.bin As you use more than the 4 fractions (blue,red,green,black) you see 5 is transparent and 6,7 and 8 give this city_name boards - have you ever seen them in the game ? No ? - Me neither, and this is GREAT! You can use them for additional fractions with independent colors. 6 and 7 work perfect, IIRC behaves 8 like black (4) without movement. Damn, this is actually really good! Thanks a lot, ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ! It's really gonna help once I fine-tune the map even more since the alliances of these warlords were quite flexible overtime, thus the need to use more alliances... And yeah, glad to help with the flags bit!

Great Idea to extend the banner! We had already a few threads about how much just a +4 banner will change the playstyle ... a very intelligent setting for the storyline . Sadly I don't know any way to give items to academy generals either. Nor how to extend the range of banner.
I really appreciate that you published the data-sheets, this helps a lot to get an entry for me as non chinese.
We should reactivate the china map...

You helped this community a lot, honestly, so don't get mad about not having ideas.. you and trotsky have been the backbone for the current generation of modding

There is still so many unused modding potential in the EW4 engine. Have you tried to use oversized assets for the animations - it works great - I can't understand why this was never used. We need more maps, and rvrn more guides. There was the idea to make a Star Wars mod with you and Darth Vader: If you need Ideas - just post on the board - there many that need your support. For example: I believe marco77 needs help for skin-edits. I hope you find your next interresting project within our community Arthur Currieps. Do you know how strength , next to hidden evasion in the county section of the btl-files work?

You found the newest Ew5 unlock apk. You took a dying modders dream and made them a reality. You and ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ made great progress in binary, lib, and etc. This is just the ones I know, there are probably endless achievements. Mod ideas don't just appear when you are ready for one. Go do something you enjoy, not just here but, in real life. They are bound to pop up when you do something you love.

I honestly dont know how much I could help with that due to my nonexistent knowledge in coding... The sanguo mod has a modified 3 kingdoms china map. My problem, I have no PC and I can't handle pvr files on android. imaginationtech has the tools only for desktop OS the same for texturepacker. And I didn't find anyone here who can, or want, to convert at least one ingame PVR for me. I'm working on it and will publish by the time additional maps. Edit: I just checked it, and today it seems for me possible to translate and use the china map from 3 kingdoms. But you have to build up everything - there no .btl files to start with. Ok, the problem is: The map is big, EW4 is limited to 2048 water tiles, 3k shapes use for every water tile EW4 uses only 1 and the south can't be displayed, it will take quite hand work to replace them propper.

I read and edit the binary files directly - only NMM as editor + MT, nothing else. Yes I need the EW4.0 pvr HD files in a handable (PNG) format. I would be really thankfull if anyone can do this please ! I will not publish a mod with new maps if I loose America and europe - and I have to start to build new .btl files before. I tried to explain You the problem, when I extended the europe map for the rommel-mod a few monnths ago - the Sahara south extention of the europe map is on hold after 4 rows, only for this reason. Apart the 12-bit problem it is possible to move the maps without any terrain type workaround (translation still needed) PS: With Your EW4 1.5.6-APK, I can have an overview - thank You Arthur Currie!
