Shrimant Peshwa Madhavrao Bhat, The Royal Air Force launched a massive attack on your air bases with 400 bombers and 400 fighters (twice as many as you, we have numerical superiority). In addition to the our numerical superiority, you cannot detect attacks in advance because you have no radars. this attack was devastating for the Luftwaffe. You have suffered significant casualties, many of your aircraft are unusable and destroyed. At every base? Also, Radars were not the only ways to detect enemy aircrafts. All the airbases we can reach of the Atlantic Wall army group. Yes, but radar was very important. Of course, this was not the only factor, but he made a significant contribution to the RAF in the Battle of Britain. Because German planes can be detected from afar, preparations can be made before the bombardments begin, reducing the possibility of surprise attacks. Also, if you don't have a radar, it's not impossible to detect enemy planes, but it's harder than using radar. And the radar has more range, you usually can't prepare for an attack in advance because once the attack starts you don't have time for that anymore. So radar gives you the most precious thing, time.

The USSR moves 5 divisions and 1 tank to Veliky Novgorod. We will arrive there in 2 hours.
Our navy also begins to clear the mines left by the German forces. We will fully clear out a path in 37 hours.
Timetable: Mines fully cleared until Kotlin island (5 hours) Mines fully cleared until Sosnovy Bor (23 hours) Mines fully cleared to the Finnish border (37 hours)

At every base? Also, Radars were not the only ways to detect enemy aircrafts. Listen on my province I had built military academy where the skill and experience of forces already gains and also some of them are promoted to engineer-troops Since you are in charge of Atlantic wall, I am sending mine 1 division of engineer troops towards Norway, 1 division in Denmark-Netherlands-Belgium and another 2 towards the shore of Dunkrik-Brest(France)-Bilbao(Spain) To build heavy chain of costal artilleries also they will be added with anti air artilleries~=NO MORE THREATS FROM BRITISH AIRFORCE=~ they will also add anti air guns with your mobilised troops Moreover they will share ever idea and technology regarding this, you must support themm and in return I will ask you to continue this fortifications to Lisbon (Portugal) and return mine troops to me Your loss means our loss, we will support you in any way Okay. But it can't completely block air attacks, because then we'd all be using anti-aircraft and airstrikes would be so pointless (or in real real life WWII). So you can do damage, but you can't prevent air strikes. Someone still can do air strikes on you. And I wrote that I attacked to German air bases, before you said that you placed anti-aircraft guns. My attack ended successfully. So your anti-aircraft guns had no effect on this attack. Because those only affects the future. Of course, your anti-aircraft guns can do damage in future.

Okay now there are few problems on both sides I would want to discuss and ask your opinions about.
1. The unability to recruit troops have been countered with alot of anti air and fortifications by both sides. Now I woukd consider this a problem because firstly it destroys the purpose of not being able to get more forces and secondly it threatens to make the RP too static. As for anti air, it is the same, it destroys the purpose of fighters and is dependent on players' perspective, just like the forts and naval artillery.
2. The precise presenting of casualties has two problems too.
A) It is perpetual too. Atleast I personally don't want any more arguments. B) The casualties have neen so big that it threatens to drain all forces from the RP. Amso it creates an even bigger advantage of having more troops than the enemy.

B) The casualties have neen so big that it threatens to drain all forces from the RP. Amso it creates an even bigger advantage of having more troops than the enemy. I think I have some possible solutions. 1. Don't make anti-air and fortifications a hard stopper which completely stagnates attack. Instead make it so they reduce a percentage of the attack (kinda like in the WC games), for example anti-air reduces casualties by 20% or something and fortresses reduce casualties by 35%. You can also make it so that soldiers can't fight while they're building fortresses, so if you have 50 divisions and you're literally rebuilding the Great Wall of China then you can't just divert 35 of those divisions to attack someone while you're building. Also building fortresses takes a long time. It took 9 years just to build the Maginot line.
2. a) Make casualties semi-dependent on RNG (not fully cause that kinda sucks), so RNG determines your approximate amount of casualties but you can change it to your discretion by, say, 50% b) Your troops automatically retreat from the battle if casualties are too large, cause if I were a soldier I for sure wouldn't stick around if 500 divisions around me were getting slaughtered. battles also take place in longer phases so you can retreat mid-battle if necessary (of course, you will suffer casualties in retreating) OR make it so you can only fight a certain amount of battles per day, and travel a certain distance every day (eg. you can't use your entire army to invade Rome, and then march all the way across Europe to invade Copenhagen in 2 hours or something)

1. Agree that was kind of what I was thinking. 2. I think maybe land force casualties shouldn't be stated in numbers unless they are encircled.
