Following the ceasefire, we are repairing our fortifications. In west north and south of Gatchina we start building new fortifications. Remember the repairing forts will gain experience and may be promoted to the next level

Dude, how can we remember the current no. of units each member was housing in the current situation? Note that: I am talking about every members in this RP It's also not possible for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov to upgrade the unit list (in the first page) each time,so I think we have to find out an alternative way to calculate and publish the result Please every member go through the issue!!! The way I keep track of all my units is to just keep a list of numbers and where they are in a Google Docs. I do agree though that there... isn't really a method of keeping track of units that's happening right now, maybe all RP players could collaborate on a google maps editor or something so we can make live updates whenever something happens. I would also like a more intuitive way of calculating casualties, which isn't just "I propose a value, you propose a value, and then we compromise". I'd rather have some kind of algorithm or equation that can do this. But maybe having very static ways of calculating casualties could take the fun out of RPs. IDK. |

When I first came to the RP boards, I asked Napoleon about dices, sonce I had seen them. Apparently they were too complicated so they just got rid of them. Also an algorithm would maybe make the RPs just mathematics. |

I agree, that's why I was thinking of something that's semi-RNG-dependent, as in it's partly controlled by maths but it can also be altered at the player's discretion. Maybe if we do end up making an algorithm it would just provide a very rough range (ex. + or - 50% or something) so that it doesn't just become WC4 lol |

The USSR has begun building defensive measures to prevent the Germans from breaking out of Gatchina.
We have set anti-tank mines down on the northern and southern flanks, and installed tank ramps, which will partly conceal our tanks and provide a 50% damage reduction while keeping our offensive potential at 100%. Our anti-air guns surrounding Gatchina have completed. They will shoot down 25% of all planes while reducing damage by 55%.
Propaganda officials have arrived from Leningrad, and they are starting to negate the negative morale effects created by the German sirens. Since Gatchina is surrounded, the Germans have extremely limited supplies and the efficacy of their land forts under construction are greatly reduced.
We have also reinforced our western front from Narva to Pskov. Our front ranges from Narva to Vasknarva, crosses Lake Peipus, and from Pskov all the way to the Byelorussian front at Minsk. The Germans' line of fortifications to the East are essentially useless as they are now deep inside our territory, with no troops to guard them. Torpedo devices are built on the eastern shores of Lake Peipus and Lake Pinkva. Our front is slightly behind rivers, so we dig trenches and instal barriers in the river which will make it harder for the enemy to cross. We have built bridges across the Narva River, armed with explosives.

We dig trenches and antitank trenches and obstacles around Stalingrad, further improving our defences. are rocket artillery already invented? anyways the 10 T-34 Tanks with 20 divisions are sent to attack Gustav and Dora since they are weak at near range. Stalingrad is impossible. we MUST find a way. Ah yes, artillery from the volga line.They fire at Stalingrad from the other side of the river, destroying buildings and panicking troops. |

Anyways i found out that Katyushas were made in 1941, so that means they're available here in 1942 RP |

In the middle of the night the Kriegsmarine mines the waters around Sevastopol leaving a big part of the Black Sea fleet trapped.
Next, a massive bombing raid by 100 dive bombers, 300 bombers and 400 fighters are launched on the navy.
Now, the Black Sea fleet in a shock, 8 divisions land in Syria escorted by 10 submarines, 5 destroyers and 2 cruisers.
