This is contains map: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/11093/expedition?page=2Maybe improve on your tech and gens? The SE tile leads to a second tile which is a dead-end. Against Gaul, IIRC, you may want either an Axeman or slinger Legion to counter their heavy units (especially heavy inf). You can sacrifice one of the starting heavy inf because you lack the number of gens to command it. Send this inf in first to draw fire and blood.

i manage to win that conquest with Archer Commander, Picorus, Pompey, Antony and Vercingetorix (all of them max leveled). Like Nobunaga said, i improved all of my tech until level 5 (mostly focused on movement, and defense for Infantry and attack for Archer and Cav). Also don't forget with items like Shield of Thunder (from Spartacus DB) and Laurel Crown. they helps a lot! buy some Gold Ring for other general or Cartage for movement. Focus on preserving your Heavy units (Heavy Cav or Heavy Inf) and use the lighter ones for normal battle (the simple two sword and helmet symbol without the red circle). Conquest is a strictly resource management and strategical mode, even me with 7 generals (5 of the above i mentioned earlier + Belisarius and Cleopatra) and good items like Laurel Crown, Shield of Thunder and Dragon Tripod, i still struggled with Conquest of Asia. so good luck!

Well I forgot how I finished the expeditions. Expeditions requires technique, and luck! I managed to barely finish it with only Pompey commander infantry based drusus and pacorus 1.
