I did this with just Guderian (on a S-Carrier) and 1943 naval and air tech.
I used 3 Super Carriers, 4 regular carriers, 8 cruisers, and 3 subs.
First, grind down Nagumo. You should use your cruiser's 2 range to knock out enemy auxiliaries, such as subs and destroyers. DO NOT get close enough to Nagumo where he can attack you, he landed 158 damage on my cruiser once, in a crit. Even so, he still does usually over 100 damage. Use your 7 carriers to grind Nagumo to where you can maybe use some other Rumor generals, I just used the 3-stacked sub and cruisers to surround and destroy when he was low.
There was always an enemy cruiser within cruising distance of Nagumo's port, she didn't move in, but that was just for me, but my best guess is it's Ozawa's job to do it as he did come up.
Ozawa will come up and hopefully leave his port undefended, send Guderian over and go into that port, you can still hit Yamamoto. Ignore Ozawa when he comes up and just keep on directly hitting Yamamoto.
Guderian should hold the port.
Always directly hit the generals (in this case admirals), as you cannot afford to burn time hitting auxiliaries. Your allies can live long enough to get Nagumo's port, so when Nimitz recklessly sinks, you can still win.
Try to use the cloud save function because you may lose and lose some units, load up the fresh save and win.
My Guderian only had Explosives and Rumor added, and nothing else.
You can swap Guderian out and you can probably win without him, but you probably won't hold the last port for as long.
